I wear it to bed so I can use the silent alarm (whereby it vibrates on your wrist instead of an audible one) so I don't wake up my wife!!

I think that feature alone is worth wearing it to bed - so why not get it to track your sleep at the same time.

😉
That is a good point. Thus far my wife hasn't been in bed with me since I got it, though she needs to week the hell up when I do anyway :)

Well. My original hope was to get a silver stainless so I can rock my old Milanese loop and classic buckle. Didn’t have launch stock so I went with Graphite w/ Milanese, I hated wearing the graphite Milanese out of fear of scratches so I grabbed a silver in stock (been checking stock daily) I’ll miss the graphite but having used dark watches the past 2 years it’s nice to have that extra shine!

Congrats! You’ll eventually come back to the dark side!

Do you mind sharing this watch face?
I tried to attach a watchface file here, but I can't seem to upload that filetype.

This came from the FACER app, in the free section. You can snag it there, or message me with your email address so I can send it to you directly.

The yearly problem of big one or small one revisited because of the size jump. 2 of these are the 45 SBTi, one the the 41 midnight.

I stuck with the 45, I think it works fine. Thoughts?

Now worth the upgrade in your opinion? Thinking about keeping my aluminum 6 for another year and splurging next year with the s8 SS
Honestly? If you've got a 5/6, I'd just wait until next year. If you're using a 4 or earlier, the upgrade is pretty substantial (AOD, blood oxygen, etc) ... but that's just my opinion. 😅

First apple watch Silver SS, I'm very happy as I didn't expect to get one when I went to Apple Edinburgh this morning. Loving the Silver SS. Got a couple of extra bands as well :).

Are these size 41mm or 45 mm ?

I made the step from 40 to 45 this year and what really kind of shocked me was the jump in brightness, especially coming from the smaller size. Now when I get notifications I sometimes feel uncomfortable around people. My screen lights up and I feel like wearing my iPad on my wrist. I found the smaller and much darker aw6 much more discrete in public. Also the haptic feedback when getting notifications is much stronger just because of the size. 😆
What I love is that the 45mm looks much more balanced on my wrist. The 40mm used to slide around and often sat in a strange angle on my wrist. The 45mm sits tight straight in the middle.

My northern blue and clover solo loops are here!

Don’t know why but they seem tighter than the one I got last year even though they’re the same size. I can feel mild pressure from the sensor on the back. Do they stretch out at all or should I go a size up?

Unfortunately, I found that sometimes solo loops don't always line up in the same size. There can be shorter or longer bands within the same size. I have quite a lot of them and sometimes I have to order the same size twice. I also have a size 4 here that is just as long as one of my size 5s. They all didn't really stretch much over time but that's maybe due to heavy rotation.

You can reduce the brightness if you think it’s too bright.
