Apple sometimes stops selling certain colors for no specific reason… in this case I don’t understand that either, same goes for the charcoal braided loop :-/

Exactly. Where are black, navy, dark grey, white etc.? All the basic staple colors aren't there anymore.

I'm quite sure I'm not the only one here who uses different bands for different occasions. Or is it forbidden to put a mundane silicone band on an Hermes watch? Sorry, if I didn't obey to the rules or don't match your view of the world. 🙄

I have Hermes Series 7 and have had them since my first Apple Watch which was Series 4. I use different bands at different times. When I know I am doing activities where I could get my hands super dirty, like painting, cleaning bathrooms, I am not going to wear my Hermes Leather band. It’s nice to switch them up. Nothing wrong with that. There is no rule or mandate that says if you have the Hermes model, you have to wear their bands 24/7. I am right there with you, in I can also wear any band i want at any time I want. 👍

Here are a few pictures I took in September, also comparing it to Atlantic blue. Next time I wear it I will take some new pictures. 😃 It's a beautiful subtle blue.

I’ll give him the benefit of doubt for a second.

I have had AW since 2015 and have had 4 SS model and one Alu….and now the Hermes.

I used to think nearly the same, but once I put on that Hermes band and looked at the faces I was sold. The Hermes is so much more than an AW ‘with extra faces’.

But I don’t know why I am trying to justify it lol on a forum.

But from what I've seen here I'm quite sure you wouldn't just throw rude comments at random members out of the blue.

Would that be a problem? Just checking…

I think op was just feeling defensive. Their original post was met with some confused and critical responses (including mine lol), and not likely what they expected, so it’s probably just reactive.

Hermes is about the legacy of handmade leather watch bands. They are on a whole different level.

The bands are gorgeous. The rub I’ve always run into is that the faces don’t come with the band, you have to buy the Hermes watch. I could do that, and have that beautiful band and faces, but the bands last a lot longer than the watch tech - 2-3 years from now I’m going to want a new watch and I’m not going to want to buy a new Hermes band, but if I get a regular SS I lose the Hermes faces. It’s a small thing, in theory, but I really like the faces.

I really like the look of the abyss! I have the Atlantic blue as well, and while I quite like it, it’s not as dark as I had hoped it would be. FWIW, I have an Series 4 Hermès and I frequently use non-Hermès bands. I only have one leather Hermes band - although that will change when my Series 7 arrives in a few weeks! 🙂

I think it’s just that it’s a luxury item so its market-clearing price is higher than the regular models’ (incl stainless, and Ti). Don’t have one but they’re gorgeous imo.

Actually on hand it looks much more black.
On Your laptop it’s a bit navy blue/grey.
Still i like the Silver color despite it’s flashy and has a mirror effect.
Fits almost every band and can be sporty and elegant at the same time.

Seems like someone, has his facts a bit wrong about the price of a Hermes Apple Watch…..Plus the some of the premium paid is for the watch is in the cost of the band itself, exclusive watch faces unlike any others, and an extra year of Apple’s Warranty as Hermes watches have 2 year warranty’s. You just can’t compare quality of a Hermes Band to any other other leather Watch Band made for the Apple Watch.
