It's crazy how those bezels are gross now. lol. Really no going back from Series 7 imo.
I haven’t had a 7 yet but I disagree. I started at 5 and recently got myself a 3, and I appreciate the boxiness and the extra bezels don’t bug me a bit. If anything, when I see photos of the 7 it sort of takes away from the fun of the watch’s design, since all it looks like is a blob of screen on your wrist.
Though I’m sure in a few years I’ll get a s7 and appreciate it too
Interesting take but you'd need to use a Series 7 daily to be turned off by that. imo.
I always wish when I got series 4 the bezel was just that much more thin but didnt 'bother' me
Agreed though you dont realize its existence nearly as much as after getting an s7 then it becomes obvious
No doubt! I’m sure it’s just like a 5 with more screen and I’d love that. When I get one I’m sure I’ll forget all about the promo photos. I like all the slight variations in all of the styles .. I just hope it doesn’t become merely a thin slice of screen. It is a fashion item as much as it is a tech thing, for me.
It’s so weird how much I ping pong back and forth. I’m guessing if I had a 41mm S7 and not just my 45mm the distaste would be more permanent, but there’s many days when I can look at a 40mm or 44mm on my wrist with a full bleed face and still have love in my heart.
That said also maybe if you took my S7 away entirely I would have withdrawals and also permanently hate the ol’ bezel dogs.
Can someone please post a picture of the starlight watch with a midnight band? or a dark band. I can't decide if I want starlight or midnight.

Starlight and Midnight are both inexpensive bands and easily attainable
I meant I can't decide whether to get the Starlight watch or the Midnight watch. I like the darker band, just not sure how it looks on the Starlight body.
Right up there with Mallard and a neutral in the Antique/Stone/Starlight family as “must-have” colors if you own a gold watch. Bonus points if the neutral is the Starlight BSL.
If they do a straight ahead purple/grape/amethyst, we’ll have quite the nice troika of U V, D C, and that.
