That’s the Lumy app ($6.99) which tells you (particularly photographers) when the golden hour is for photography. Also you don’t need watchOS 9 for Lumy it’s been out since watchOS 7.
Is there a free version of the app? I'd love to try it out.

Metropolitan- coming with the watchOS 9 update this fall. There is a public beta if you want to use it now and don’t mind the bugs though.
Got it. I somehow didn't see it. Was using the option with the black background and wondering why it wasn't working lol

Don’t see too many Blue Aluminums here. Congrats on the new watch! Was your S4 SBSS if I remember correctly? If so that’s a very different choice you made on this new watch

You sir have a good memory. 👌🏼

Yep, my S4 was indeed the SBSS.

I did look on the Apple store (UK), for a similar SBSS but it seems these models have increased in price.

When I bought my S4 SBSS about 4 years ago (or around when it first came out), it costed around £499 back then, which was affordable for me.

However, this time around, for a similar model, Apple wants over £600 for one, which I just couldn’t justify!

Were you using the custom “top” non-band colors at any point? I was playing around with those for Saddle and the slider therein unlocks a truly infinite set of combos for Metro, but also maybe can get one stuck with black elements?

I was using dial V. I'm blind lol.

Are you referring to the Hermès SBSS? Or is that the price for Stainless Steel models? The price hike only makes sense if you’re talking about the Hermès model. The prices have always pretty much stayed the same throughout all the series for aluminum vs stainless models.

I think Apple had to raise prices outside the home market pretty recently…or maybe because of Brexit, the worst cereal ever

Yea, from what I can see on the Apple Store, the closest Watch to the SBSS is the Graphite Stainless Steel which starts at £649.

EDIT - I think I actually have my figures incorrect.

Just looked over my emails and found the invoice for my 2018 SBSS - a whopping £749?!!! 😮😮

There‘s no way I’d be willing to pay that price now for an Apple Watch, hence my decision to go for the cheaper aluminium model!

Apologies for the confusion earlier!

The Edge 1040 has a lot more battery time, and now has Solar Charging! I'm drooling... Is that a 500, or 800 class Edge? I love my 1030, but would like the solar charging and metal base. Hah, the one problem with biking and batteries is that most (many?) people don't charge them consistently. I've heard of people who apparently don't charge any of their bike stuff. (I have an issue with lights myself, and I have a slight history of having one nub of the quarter-turn mount breaking on Garmin stuff)

No idea on the Wahoo stuff. The LBS dropped their computers. Still won't carry them. *shrug*

EDIT: I had a fenix, and sold it. I had Big Dreams, and then surgery, and figured it was too complicated to keep for sports and exercising I couldn't do anymore, sadly...

1040 looks good for sure, but holding out for an 840 personally.

I still prefer the Garmin stuff but its this particular thread and seeing all the cool Apple Watch configurations that got me to come back and try another round of "test devices". Thanks everyone!
