I’m off on vacation today and I’m thinking of going in the swimming pool with my watch. I’ve had the Apple watch since day one (2015) but I’ve never been brave enough to take it in the swimming pool despite it being water resistant from series 2 onwards. However I have insurance and I’m getting a new Apple watch when I come back (Birthday present, already bought). So what the hell I’m gonna do it.

Do it 😄

I did this morning and it still works I can’t believe I’ve had an Apple Watch since it launched in 2015 and not only did I not take it swimming with me but I’ve been taking it off even to the washing up

When I give my watch a complete clean, I run it under full pressure warm water in the sink and then put a drop of dishwashing soap on it and just lather/clean it with my fingers, I don’t use anything to scrub it to avoid scratching it and then I rinse it under water again fully rinsing all the soap and then use a soft cloth to dry and polish, I also make sure to remove all the remaining liquid out of the speaker holes by blowing into them (the liquid push out feature on the Watch isn’t 100% honestly). I’ve been doing this since my series 4 and I’ve had 0 issues and it’s the fullest clean you can give your watch. It’s like giving it a bath. I’ve told people my method and seeing them cringe is so funny and hearing that they do everything they can to avoid getting it wet is funny to me. Our watches are meant to get wet (Apple has done water sports ads) there should be no fear of getting it wet lol

Bit of a long shot here I guess - can anybody show me the Explorer face in Watch OS9 please? I've recently fallen back in love with this face and wonder what the new complications look like on it?

Thanks!
