Wow. I never thought I would fall in love with the Milanese Loop. But I have. 😍🥰😘
Woven metal. It's the coolest thing. Looks really nice with Hermes watch. Will post later!
I use my Milanese from my S0 with my Hermès S7. Still one of the best combos IMO

OK. Milanese Loop is very, very stylish. Why did it take me SO long to get it? It goes with everything!
I like it a lot. It's cute with the Lucky Horse watch faces. This makes me so happy!

I thought it was the color for the 12ProMax case called Cloud Blue. It looked like this. Never mind, maybe it never came out in the Solo Loop. My memory is not very good these days.

No worries!

The thing is I own the cloud blue sport band proto (Chargie is still selling his last one!) and I thought you’ve been referring to that as a similar band. Cloud Blue (pictured below) has way more glow and color, less foggy haze mist, and a more purple cast, though Succulent Solo Loop is pretty damn blue next to green bands.

I LOVE cloud blue, found among the retail bands on the abyss sport loop accent rail. Icy glow! When I got it, before we knew the name cloud blue, it reminded me of the night king from Game of Thrones.

The new Slate Blue Braided Solo Loop really looks amazing with the Titanium Apple Watch Edition.

In fact, one thing really discouraging me from upgrading to S8 from S6 as the temperature sensor’s insights to wellbeing actually interests me? The fact that S8 isn’t available in Titanium.

^^^^^Im assuming they elected not to offer the S8 in the Ti because it just doesn't sell great vs. the SS and the Ultra takes the place of the Ti case. I don't disagree, as I had an S7 Ti, but I'm sure thats their reasoning. I've never met a person who had a Ti edition, and almost none who had a SS. All of my friends and family have the base aluminum model.

The Ti Watch Edition was a solid deal when compared to the SS. Extra band, extra warranty -- cost difference minimal. I don't see many SS watches, either. It's mostly Aluminum watches that I see out and about. While its the Ultra that replaced the Watch Edition its not because the Watch Edition didn't sell well -- it was never intended to sell in high numbers. Methinks the Ti was just too close to the SS in terms of features, etc. Obviously, using Titanium in the Ultra is the right call given the size and the Ultra is clearly different than the other  watches.

Looks good. The Nike faces are one of the only native apple faces that I love. I'm glad you don't have to have nike edition to use them now!

And Apple didn't help any by limiting the stores that could sell the Edition watches to "flagship" stores.

They chose not to offer Titanium for S8 because they couldn’t have it eating into the sales of their beloved Ultra. Which, no one talks about, they don’t even offer the Ultra in a smaller variant, unlike the Titanium Edition which was available in both 40/41 and 44/45mm sizes

Yup. Titanium Edition was an insanely good deal if you break it all down - the upfront cost is comparable to Stainless Steel (SS), you got an extra exclusive Sport Band and an extra year of free warranty. Thus, the extra $50 that the Titanium cost over SS more than paid for itself already.

My previous watch was a SS S4. While I did like how ‘smart’ it looked, I definitely did not like how easily it scratched, especially those nasty hairline scratches - at the same age of two years, my Titanium S6 has today held up far better. I believe it also has to do with that elegant brushed finish which clearly helps hide any scratches.

At this moment I’m not sure if I’m feeling SS (and my band collection doesn’t really go well with Graphite) - I think what’s more likely for me is, as my Ti S6 has only 85% of its battery capacity remaining is, once that hits 80%, I’m gunna go into an Apple Store and go for an overhaul of the battery instead - battery service on Apple Watch gives you a new (refurbished!) Watch of the same model AFAIK, so I’d rather get this as an interim and hope that the Titanium Edition makes a comeback for S9 in a years time.

The Ultra isn’t even an option for me as I use the smaller size Watch and Ultra only comes in the larger size, so rendering all my current bands suddenly incompatible isn’t in my best interests

The Titanium was priced alright, but I fail to see how it was an „insanely good deal“. It was priced more or less equal to SS because those Watches are (were) more or less equal as well. Saphire crystal on both, LTE on both, premium material (vs. aluminium) on both. Deciding between them was more a question of taste, really – shiny elegance with a certain heft on the wrist vs. a more subdued look and (slightly) lighter weight.

I’d rather get this as an interim and hope that the Titanium Edition makes a comeback for S9 in a years time.

I believe this ship has sailed. Titanium is now chained to the Ultra. A „regular“ Ti Watch would only happen if the Ultra was a flop, which it clearly doesn‘t seem to be.

This may be your better chance actually. If Apple manage to get the same battery life – which is one of if not the most important feature of the Ultra for most buyers – in a smaller enclosure, I can absolutely see them offer another Ultra size compatible with the small Watch bands.

On a side note, I wonder if those Series 7 rumors showing the less-rounded edge/slightly squared-off look will be the next-gen watch aka the Series 9. We see parts of that render on the Ultra.

My new blue ocean band ultra. What do you all think? Too big or does it look good?
