I think I saw a post a while back about the Wayfinder face on the Ultra where somebody wished there were dark/Black versions of it?

Just letting you know that there are in 3 colours - Adventurer (Orange), Ocean (Blue) and Performance (Yellow).

Loving the Ultra, the screen may be roughly the same size as the S7 that I had but it being flat certainly does something good for it for me anyway.

I have officially joined the Ultrarati! 😃

Yes. Not only is there a gap, but the bands don’t flow with the case like they do with the regular watch series. It’s like mixing two different fonts in one sentence. I would say they work, but they are not compatible. The 41mm bands also work with the ultra if one doesn’t care about looks.

I guess one good thing about being so old I can't read the new ios9 fonts/complications is that I would never see the gap either. I don't have or want the ultra but I honestly would not notice the little gap ever

What color did you use on your watch face? I am guessing Mallard. I ordered this band a few days ago should be here Thursday 9/29. I ordered size 6 since my usual size 7 fir BSL is unavailable.
This was Dark Teal but then I switched to Mallard just now for more lit conditions where Dark Teal is way too blue. I don’t have Mallard in this size watch so I was trying to avoid adding it.

But nope def go with Mallard, though you lose some saturation.

Not compatible. That’s a bummer and not what everyone else was saying, darn.

I think both sizes are great but also get what matches your wrist size. I see so many skinny wrists with huge screens lol it looks so out of balance in my opinion. Most people think bigger is better. I have a 41mm and I love the size, I was never a fan of the 38/40 but 41 to me is perfect. It’s literary one 1mm less than the original 42mm. It does not feel small it just feels right.

That’s not true of every legacy band, and if you’ve ever bought third party bands, you have probably had some tolerance for this before Ultra.

Personally, I think many of the legacy bands fit it well and aren’t misaligned to any notable amount from normal viewing distance. It’s not a good reason to reject the Watch - it’s clearly designed for this size band, even if some are slightly different

So they are compatible?

Yes they are compatible. If you look very closely on some bands there is a little gap at the top end of the band but it’s really no big deal.

That’s a really nice pic 😍 would that be the 14 Ultrawide maybe?

And it doesn’t look like too different than the natural play a steel lug has on SSS
