I mean right here, the 42mm lug is much shorter, the 44mm lug is taller and allows the band to be further away from the case. Seeing as how 42mm lugs are so short compared to 44mm, let alone 45 and 49mm, I wouldn't expect them to fit. I showed it on the milanese though I'm fairly certain sport loops do this too.

42mm on left/top, 44mm on right/bottom.

This is my 41mm Milanese Loop that I got just 2 weeks ago. I'm not quite understanding what you mean by the lugs.

The "lugs" are the part of the band that slide into the watch. See on yours, the lugs are made longer than the 38mm band so that the milanese can sit further away from the watch body.

I had an old Californian Poppy leather link. Out with the orange leather paint and here you go.

Got tired of waiting on Apple to make their own orange leather link?
Will the shine fade away after some use?

Well I’m frustrated. I cannot find a decent metal bracelet of any kind to go with the starlight watch. I just ordered my second from Amazon to see how it matches (first one I tried was god-awful).

I’m really frustrated with myself that I was suckered in with starlight. It’s so frustrating that no lugs match. I don’t love sport bands, so even though there are no clashing metals, I rarely wear them. I do like my knockoff braided loops.

I went to Apple yesterday and tried SS and a 45mm aluminum. I don’t think I can wear the SS. It literally sent burning pains up my arms within minutes of putting it on. I don’t have any allergies that I know of to anything like that - wear SS/nickel/silver earrings and stuff all the time. And as much as I love the bigger screen, the 45 just looks too big on my wrist.

I’m not gonna upgrade just to switch back to silver aluminum, so I’m just biding my time and trying to get some bands I like til I can go back to silver.
