That's the thing. I swim 4-5 days weekly. I'm probably going to bite the bullet and get it anyway. It's timeless.
Ah ok! Yes it’s an amazing band and IMO looks better with Ti than SS. Just don’t wear it swimming that’s all
I have the '7 edition' titanium, and it's getting covered with lots of little dots that seem to indicate that the black coating is coming off, and it's only on one side, the 'active side' with the button and wheel. *sigh*

Just became way too blah. Would pick it up and be like damn I miss stainless steel lol…so I dumped it before the prices become so low you can’t even sell it. Will be curious to see what a second generation brings.
Stainless steel now with the warmer temperatures coming around, fits the bill for me. Went Hermes since I loved the series 6 I used to have.
If you found it „blah“ so fast, why are you curious for gen 2? It will surely have the exact same design.
Why would the Ultra depreciate more/faster than other Apple Watches? I really don‘t think so.
Well for one I like to use and review latest and greatest devices from Apple. Sure it might keep the same design elements but maybe slimmer with slimmer bezels will give it a better look and experience. Who knows but it’s great to see and take photos for my IG page.
Second I sold it now because I didn’t want to wait until summer before the prices become so low. I never said it would depreciate more or less. It’s just the nature of the market. All the watches do.

Both of these tweaks would be nice but we never got a re-design after just one gen. I fully expect the next Ultra to look exactly like the current one. But we may get a black version so that‘ll keep things fresh.

There's no way they keep the same the bezels. Size changes have already been rumored to accommodate this. But I do see your point. I mean hello series 4-8 lol
