It's so weird, Magic Ember seemed like *the* red nike band we've all been wanting when it came out, then Bright Crimson came out and now Magic Ember feels so pink and desaturated.

Still a cool band, though!

I'm fairly confident that the band he's wearing in the photo is the same as the pic you're replying to, the Midnight Ocean Band. I think why it looks flat is just compression in the photo from the video feed.

If it actually was flat, I'd suggest it could be the Midnight Sport Band, but considering you can see the tongue of the band on the bottom of his wrist, I don't think it could be a Sport Band.

Leather Link maybe, but unlikely. The "pills" on those are actually more prominent than the ocean band, so we'd see them more visibly. Also, most people who buy an Apple Watch don't change out the bands or buy extras. They'll wear the watch on the band it came with, until that breaks or something, then most of them will go to Amazon or whatever and buy a pack of 10 cow print bands for $2.99 (and be surprised when they break...)

first gen is often ignored since most people (myself included) consider second gen the better of the two. That said, though, first gen is still a super nice band, and will always be the one I drooled over in the Apple Store 8 years ago!
