If your watch is stainless, the sapphire crystal will outlast the watch itself.

If your watch is aluminum... buy a stainless watch.

I've literally never had a problem with this. Rain, showers, or swimming, water on my watch has never been an issue. If anything, water will now just get trapped between your watch and case.

these cases are just going to make your watch uglier and harder to use. I mean if you're into that, I won't stop ya.

*sigh* I am not trying to stop the watch getting wet. That doesn't bother me. Apparently I am not being clear.

I want a screen protector for the watch to stop it getting scratched, particularly as I'd like to be able to get more for it when I sell it later. I considered just getting a small screen protector plate, but decided I'd rather have a case with integrated screen protector.

Having read the reviews for a bunch of those cases, people sometimes noted that when moisture gets between case / watch that the screen becomes somewhat unresponsive and you need to take it off and dry the inside.

So I opted to get a case that was a water seal to prevent moisture between screen protector & AW screen.

Again, just to be clear, this isn't about keeping the watch itself dry. I have no fear of it itself getting wet, well aware I can use it in the shower and go swimming with it.

Resale value for watches kinda sucks. Especially aluminum models. I'd say it's only worth selling if you absolutely have to.

In my experience, a few scratches dont even affect value. Not enough to matter anyway. If it's used, it's used.

How does that work exactly? You still need holes in the case to use your crown, speakers, band channels, microphone, sensors, and release buttons. I don't know how you do all that and still be "waterproof" enough to keep water out from under the case.

hi forget the clip on screen cases with tampered glass they will suffer condensation when moving out of a cool room to outside warm area or vice versa in cooler months i.e warm to cold its a natural effect . I've tried many and found this solution the most efficient .me being a clumsy person and only two weeks ago i fell over flat on my face and smashing my watch into the path the IPG screen protector saved the day has it had a scratch(scuff) but removing the IPG protector not a single mark or scratch on the watch face !!!!! . i have a rubber rugged armor case(proven but big for some folks) and I use to much success for a many years now these thin wet applied transparent glass protectors .you wouldn't even know there is a protector applied .there tricky to apply but practice makes perfect . attached photos of apple watch 7 45mm which has taken plenty of knocks in the last two years almost and not a mark or a scratch on the body or glass watch watch face.. i got a few packs recently to replace the scratched one after my mishap .less than $5 a packet which contains two .give em ago but buy a couple of packs its tricky to apply if you dont follow the instructions and assume ..soapy water is the trick and advised and in 24 hours its non visible.using an hairdryer on mild warm setting speeds up the drying process hold it around arms length just moving the hairdryer side to side you will see it even out and smoothed to the screen curved edges after a couple of minutes don't use max heat of hairdryer it will melt the protector edges just a mildly warm setting..
has you can see from photo below cant even detect there is a thin protector on it.

have a good day..brian

s7 NaTi came in. Decent deal on ebay and in good shape with 96% battery health. After wearing my ultra for the past 6 months it's kind of crazy how small and lite it feels. Makes a great pair with my ultra and pairs better with some of my older bands! I love the brushed finish compaired to my s7 ss that I sold. Shame apple doesn't make it any more. P.S. sorry you have to see my hairy arm😂

Gold Stainless Steel Series 6 with Hermes face from Clockology. I really wish we’ll get the Hermes option in gold some time in the future.
I mean you could just get a silver Hermes watch and have it gold plated

or just buy one like that off eBay

Cheers Brian, I will look into those!

Hi. Which band is this please?

Same as this one? From the hot dog eating competition last week?
It's Apple's Midnight Ocean band! Can't really tell what the band in the photo is but I think it looks flatter than the ocean band.

Thanks.
I was thinking the ultra in the photo I shared, was paired with one of the official midnight leather link bands?

it seems a pretty nice combo, ultra with the leather link?
