I really feel inferior... when I get my MBP 2.4Ghz in september.. Im guessing Im going to see a difference..

No MBP yet, but I do have a highly unstable PC I built over 2.5 years ago. I had it overclocked (to the max, of course), but something broke and now it crashes a lot. Whatever.

Anyways:

Score: 1547

Platform Windows x86 (32-bit)
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ Socket 939 (Running at stock 2.0GHz, but I had it running at 2.65 :))
Memory 1023 MB 400 MHz (DDR400)

I am getting a MBP 2.2, does that mean it will really be twice as fast as what I have now? Or is the number basically meaningless?

I think this machine I have now actually did pretty well considering its issues, and how old it is. I made a good buying decision when I got this. But sadly, I broke it (and some may say, I broke it because I wanted a mac...). Either way, I am never buying anything from ASUS again, because they are an evil company that makes crap that breaks for no reason, and never works and they don't fulfill their warranty.

What does it matter if you can only run the rossetta program and have a intel machine?
I will submit my MBP and iMAC in a minute.
