Current OSX is 64-bit architecture and current Apple machines support that. Why are y'all using GeekBench in 32 bit version? Just curious...maybe I'm missing something here...

The 32-bit Geekbench is free. You have to pay to use the 64-bit version.


Anyway, I tried running it in my guest account and I managed to squeeze out a slightly higher score. :)

Ah. FYI, I ran my MBP just now using both the 64 bit and 32 bit versions.....

I ran it on a K6 at 233MHz and it got 87 (link). I'm fairly sure its one of the lowest GeekBench scores ever :D
I just ran it on my MacBook and it just got 2735.

Ran this on my unibody MacBook Pro(specs in sig) using 32-bit test. Sry sig doesn't show this, but my hard drive is the stock 5400rpm 320GB and I am using the 9600M GT graphics with 512MB of VRAM running my 24" display. Also had a few applications running in the background.
