do you think that infograph face uses a lot of battery?
Digital Infograph is my main watch face. I keep my watch at 100% brightness, and I wear it for sleep tracking. Sometimes I wear it for 2 days in a row, and have over 30% battery at the end of the 2nd day.

I'm sure battery usage will be affected by different complications and third-party apps.

It is indeed a battery hog.

My S4 has far less battery life than my S3 did. Don’t get me wrong, the Infograph and Infograph Modular are great to look at with more complications, but the trade off is definitely a hit on battery in my experience.

do you receive a lot of notifications during the day (whatsapp, messages, e-mailetc.)?. i only have heartwatch as 3rd party app on the face and my battery consumpion is 70-90% in ONE day

That sounds like too much battery consumption.

I have notifications for messages, phone calls, and the occasional notification from the TV app about a new episode. Also, the daily coaching reminders to close my rings and weekly summary.

I do use scribble a few times a day for quick message replies. I use reminders on the watch for my shopping list a couple of times a week.

I set my Series 4 up as new, and intentionally only added HeartWatch and AutoSleep as the only third-party apps.

I hope we will see more complications options. Here we go.

I like more and more this Applewatch.

But I hesitate because of the price 459 and 99 for insurance.

Is it really useful ?

I wonder if after a few days, I will discover is not useful.

What do you think ?

I think it's quite useful myself but everyone is different. You know what it does so you just have to ask yourself if you would be using those things on a daily basis ;)

Mine is basic compared to all of yours. I don’t get it how you are adding all these different complications

What’s the bottom circular complication?
That’s Outcast, an excellent standalone podcast app. When I’ve got a podcast paused, it’s icon changes to the icon of the podcast and the circular progress bar updates too. Also works on the corners.
Been using a mix of Overcast, Podcasts and Outcast for different use cases.

How’s it different to the official podcast app?

I wish my HR got that low, I have a high resting HR, I average 87 even when I’m SLEEPING!

Mine used to be in the 80's then I lost over 100 lbs ;):p:oops:

Weight loss, lowering my blood pressure
and incorporating more physical activity helped me lower my resting heart rate. Cycling is my new favorite past time...but it was too cold this morning! Had to settle for a quick 5K run!

They have similarities, but Outcast has better playback controls (e.g. more playback speed options, a reliable progress bar that you can scrub faster using the Digital Crown), 100% standalone LTE/WiFi downloading and search of any podcast when you’re away from your iPhone (Podcasts.app can only show you podcasts you’re subscribed to or search the entire iTunes library only using unreliable Siri commands). There’s more but I can’t list it all.

I use Overcast for Podcasts when I’m in range of my iPhone or for podcasts that use chapter breaks. Overcast has proven to be too unreliable for auto-syncing/manual syncing to the watch, plus auto-sync was killing my battery because it was constantly trying.
I use Outcast when I want to download a bunch of podcasts straight to my watch before heading out or when I’m already out. When at home, the trick for extremely fast downloads, is to put iPhone into Airplane mode so Outcast downloads podcasts over the WiFi, not Bluetooth.
I use Podcasts for convenience, because that streams things well enough for simpler podcasts that I may not care about finishing.

They basically all have their use cases. I wish there was one app that did it all.

The watch itself? If you’re motivated by accomplishing goals with regards to fitness I’d say so. Not only that, but with Watch OS 5 there are activity competitions that allows you to compete with your other Apple Watch cronies.

I know this may sound lame but my Apple Watch has helped me to be more active...it reminds me to move, it encourages me to meet goals or complete an activity ring, I drink more water...I share my activity with a couple of my friends and their fitness activities motivate me to get off my butt...it sounds crazy but it’s true. It basically pushes me to do what I’ve been wanting to do in the first place which is to Get In Shape!
