This is what I wanted. Too much in Aus. Hopefully I'll pick up that band one day and stick it on my SGS. Sister will be in the US in a few months. May have to pick up a black band there. It has to be one of the nicest bands period for any watch manufacturer. Looking good :)

Can I ask, I'v only seen these in photos. Is the body of the watch glossy compared to the band?

I posted in a specific thread about this already but someone suggested I share here.

I present my Space Grey Sport 42mm paired with a Space Black Link Bracelet.

I really love how the two shades of grey/black between the watch and bracelet compliment each other (not a matched color but still works great together in my opinion)

EDIT: Original post here

Looks good. Wonder if the same would be true of the Sport silver with the silver link. Didn't try that one in a store.

If you follow the link to the thread I originally posted these photos, there's someone who posted that combo before my post. (Link at end of my post above w/ pics)

I think your combo wins ultimately. The Sport silver with the silver SS link looks like it clashes too much.

I find that pretty ridiculous

Honestly I can't see buying apple bands for what they cost

You don't need to go cheap but there are some amazing handmade straps if you want so ething unique for a third of the price. Add some decent adaptors and you're at half the price.

I'm not a watch guy but outside the link (maybe) I don't see the quality of apple bands to justify the cost. The rubber bands being $50 is downright insultin
I do really like the look of blue leather on a matte black watch but not for $150 when the time to wear it would be so limited.

What width are the apple watch bands generally speaking?m24mm? (Not at the join, the main band)

I agree with ya, Apple bands are expensive. I've bought a few 3rd party bands at a fraction of the cost and I've been pleased with the quality of them. In general the 38mm will take up to a 22mm band and the 42mm will take a 24mm band.

Better looking than SS IMO. I will end up doing the same, basically cause the SS is too glossy, or at least it looks it in photos. I like the matt finish of both. Great choice.

My newest leather band. Using Apple Classic Buckle lugs. I really like this one. Horween leather. View attachment 561142View attachment 561143

Just my opinion but what I don't like about this combo is the width of the band does not exactly match the width of the watch. It's not just you that does this though, nearly every 3rd party band isn't an exact match. It makes the watch sit off centre. Is that anal, it probably is. The reality is though I want my watch to look perfect. Also the gap between the band and watch needs to go as does the little lugs on each side of the band. The band needs to seamlessly meld into the watch. Only then will I be happy. That's why I love Apple bands. The SS is a good example of melding into the watch. My opinion I know, but I guess most people don't think this way judging by most of the bands I'v seen in this thread :) Enjoy anyway and as they say as long os you're happy then it's all good.

I don't see the post where you show where you got the band and adapter.
