I haven't read through the thread, so these may have been listed already, but Strange Luck and American Gothic.

I have the whole season of American Gothic on DVD, but I can't seem to find Strange luck.:(

R
and of course, Quincy, M.E.
I watched some Quincy episodes on Netflix instant-watch. Like any older TV show, they are a bit slow, but I like the stories of his over-earnest detective work and his bumbling romance with his ever-patient girlfriend.

And of course I like his name. :)

My parents love to watch Quincy on Netflix. I find him very, very irritating but they love the show.

Magnum PI was one of the worst TV shows I've ever seen. That can stay dead. Should have been given a quick bullet after the premiere episode.

Black Books (BBC)
Firefly
Arrested Development
Star Trek: Deep Space 9
Rome
Six Feet Under

And if I can diverge a moment, even though the show continues, I will surely miss David Tennant as the 10th Doctor (Who).

BLASPHEMY! How dare you speak ill of Magnum! I mean, he had a Ferrari, a .45, a helicopter, and...a killer mustache! :D Man, I loved that show when I was growing up. Now, it seems a bit cheesy, but not terrible. The whole thing toward the end with Higgins and Robin Masters was silly.

I have been going back on Hulu and re-watching one of my other favorite childhood shows, Miami Vice. It's still pretty good, if you can get past the fashions. :) Season 1 is weak, but 2 and 3 are pretty good.

Here's a couple of others:

Highlander (Just accept it as an alternate world from the movie, and it's ok)
Jack of All Trades (You can never have enough Bruce Campbell)
Cop Rock!
Manimal

(OK, just kidding on those last two)

I can't think of a single show, actually.

Then again, I honestly haven't watched TV (aside from the Super Bowl) since 1988 (by choice). :)

Speaking of Quincy, what about Columbo? I used to watch that show with my mom all the time.

If that show got another series I would probably, for the first time away from running in thunderstorms or white water rafting, scream.
Or Shirley Ghostman, it kind of lives on in La La Land but Americans don't like that so it's likely to end pretty soon. Also they haven't showed it in the UK yet!
