That's ok then. Just i used a thin plastic case on my old iPhone 4 and the sides got slightly scuffed up that was all.

I beg to differ. The Apple case are not only over priced but they are more bulky as well as having an open bottom part which in itself is a deal breaker for me. I don't think either the Apple leather or silicone cases are worth getting.

On price I agree but compared to the cases being discussed it offers far superior protection with very minimal bulk. Minimal!

Suggest you put one in your phone. That's what sold me.

I bought one and sent it back after trying a Shumuri (and other similar minimalist cases).

It's a nice case for sure but in a completely different category to those being discussed here.

I am very careful with my iPhone and I'm only looking for protection on the back and sides to prevent the inevitable scratches that are inadvertently caused in normal use.

The Shumuri does that without changing the beautiful form factor of the iPhone 6.

I don't expect it to offer any significant protection from drops or serious bumps. That's the trade off.

My Shumuri case arrived yesterday, however it didn't survive the trip from Hong Kong. Perhaps they should invest in sturdier packaging.

It's a good thing my Spigen order didn't cancel, as it's all I have now. I emailed Shumuri to see what they'll do about it.

^^^ wow that looks bad, looks like a very fragile case .... I would be pissed if I waited 15 days or so and that happened.

Shumuri Slim Case - iPhone 6

My Shumuri case arrived yesterday, however it didn't survive the trip from Hong Kong. Perhaps they should invest in sturdier packaging.

They'll send out a replacement, I'm sure. How long did shipping take?

I ordered the Johnny frost case from Amazon for my gold i6 and its perfect IMO. Hole cut outs are perfect and the bottom is exposed. I know some people don't like it but it's not a big deal to me. As a plus the case comes with a free screen protector and a stylus (random). I also have a shrumi back protector skin and the case still fits like a glove.

I have a slim case that I really like: It's a bumper case from amCase, and I'm really enjoying it! I think that for how little it cost, it's doing pretty good for my standards.

Where did you order from? I keep seeing they're on backorder on their site!?

Do you guys think a bumper, or the Apple silicone case would fit over this, for those times when I'd need drop protection?

Yea I think it could be done. I don't have a shrumi case or veil one. I bought a knock off from Amazon but material is the same and thickness too.

It probably would bulge a little bit. I can fit a cheap silicone case over my Spigen Air Skin, but it doesn't fit as snugly as it normally would. There is sort of a bulge on the sides. I mainly just do this for extra grip and protection when running, though, so it doesn't bother me.

I love the look of the gray case, but I'm worried it will be a little too slim and fragile. If it were a $5 case I wouldn't care, but once I get into the $20 range I get worried about wasting my money.

But I really love the look and need something more discreet than my red Apple silicone case for some occasions. Decisions, decisions...

I did try one on my phone. I still beg to differ. It's protection is no better then all the other cases people have been discussing on these forums. It is also bulkier then a lot of other cases being discussed on these forums. Overall it's not worth the money when you can get cases which are just as good or better for less cost.

Anyone know of a case similar to the Shumuri? I like the grey-transparent look. I also like how the Shumuri covers the whole phone.

Me too... I want to know. The shumuri is nice but it's quite expensive to be honest... 22.99 for a plus and $6 shipping = 28.99 for a super slim case T_T

Too bad Johncase doesnt have a case for the plus or I'd buy that instead :(

I hope so, and it took just over 2 weeks.

Maybe he ordered before they became out of stock.

This is true. I even emailed them before I ordered and they said they had some but they were going fast. I just beat the rush.

As a small update, I have yet to hear from them.

Gosh, I wonder if anyone has ever discussed that somewhere in this gigantic thread full of useful information?

Anyone else having problems paying with PayPal Credit? I have more than enough money in my account, but it gives me an error when I try.
