I'm still awaiting my Shumuri for my 6 plus but due to the reviews here, don't have high hopes.

Right now I'm using the Caudabe Veil in frost and while it doesn't have the bottom coverage, it is perfect in every way - fits perfectly, the cutouts are spot on and lay flat against the phone. Like others, I've been back and forth with them asking for a case with 360 side coverage. They do hint that they are working on something that might be even better. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they wlll come up with the same material but with 360 coverage and a tad thicker to keep the camera screen from touching when flat down.

So at this point, unless I'm pleasantly surprised and my Shumuri looks great, I'll be passing it along and keeping with the Veil. It's the best slim option for me thus far. I won't be sending the Shumuri back to Hong Kong but will offer it up to other MacRumors members - so stay tuned.

I had a number of these super thin cases but I really like this case.

I too got my case in today, but received the wrong colour for the wrong iPhone. I ordered the grey case for my iPhone 6 but received the clear/white one for an iPhone 6 Plus.

Edit: they want me to ship it back to Hong Kong...

I have the gray plus and want the white! You want to trade?

I just received my 6 Plus cases. These are just like the $4 Ebay cases from China. They just put their name on it.

Not impressed...

Yes but there are no cases that cover the bottom of the phone. Well see if cheap eBay cases come along with this design

Does this case still protect the screen by have a small edge around the screen? It does look like it is a thinner case than my Apple silicone case.

I'm using the Ringke Slim (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...TNPUHXJ6S2PVHO). It's thick enough to protect the protruding camera lens on the back, but not any thicker. It also has a front lip and covers all sides of the phone.

Looks good. Is it slimmer than the Apple Silicone case?

Not sure about the black case but I had this case in white and it was super slippery. Plastic with no texture. I ended up giving it away.

It was thinner than the Apple case and did have a lip by the screen.

Yes. Only the black one has the grippy texture, though. The rest are slippery.

Is there anything similar to this but for the iPad? I just need something that will protect the back from scratches basically, without adding any bulk... much like the shumuri does for the iPhone.

How about a bestskinsever back skin if you don't need any corner protection?

I was set on the Shumuri until I saw that the cut-outs were off, so I thought I'd be getting the Caudabe Veil, then I find out it's slippery. Are there any cases out there with no screen lip, at least 0.5mm thin w/ no branding, and a rubberized grip? That would be perfect. The search continues...

I want the same but with the screen "lip" :)

Received my black 6 Plus case today. Like others, the cutouts for the bottom and side buttons are slightly off center. QC obviously lacking. The case is alright, but nothing to rave about. If this was a $5 case, it wouldn't be an issue, but for $21, there should be better QC. I would recommend not spending your money on this until they can fix the design.

I received mine a few days ago and I'm not impressed with it. It's pretty cheap looking and feeling and very slippery with no grip at all. I've had it on my iPhone 6 Plus and every time I go to pick up or take out of my pocket my iPhone I feel like it's going to slip through my hands. It's pretty fragile too and easily damaged when taking off especially. It's pretty expensive for what it is and not worth the money.

My Shumuri 6+ case is here today and has the same problem with the plastic over the volume rocker not fitting the phone. In my case it's raised enough that there is a gap and a concern that it will break going in and out of pockets. I'm going to try to fix it by heating it with a hair dryer and hopefully it will shrink.

The bottom fit and the overall style is quite good, but not having a piece of plastic between the volume switches like on the Caudabe Veil to hold it in place is a mistake.

There is no way this case is worth nearly $30 including shipping and I would recommend waiting until the price comes down or the copies show up on Ebay.

I agree with the rest of you. I received two cases for the 6 Plus. I figured they would be like the Caudabe Veil with bottom coverage. Unfortunately my frost one came with a darker spot along with scuffs. The turquoise one seemed in better shape but alas the side by the volume buttons doesn't lay flat or fit tight and the cutouts for the bottom are misaligned. Bummer. I'll either stick with my Veil or Apple silicone case. I like both of them and should have just been satisfied instead of hoping for something more.

Has anyone contacted Shumuri about replacements or refunds? Just wondering if it's worth it to process a return or better off to cut my losses and give away the cases to someone less picky than me.

I don't think the Caudabe is slippery, at least no more than a naked iPhone. I've been using the Caudabe for a while and I actually think the grip is fine.

My problem with Caudabe is that they haven't come out with a newer design to cover the bottom since the iPhone 5/5s. I was told by them last year that they're working on it to cover the bottom (like their competition Desmay) but nothing beyond that. I'll give credit Shumuri for covering the bottom for the iPhone 6/6+. I received my Shumuri transparent gray case but their packaging is soft and easily gets stepped on or squashed. The case has sharp edges around the camera and the volume side it was pushed in or bent. However, the quality is like the Caudabe Veil case. I just wish Caudabe gets their act together and come out with a totally different design to cover all sides.

Just a personal preference, I like the bottom open. I have headphones and lightning adapters that don't fit on cases that try to closely wrap around all the holes on the bottom :)

I got my Shumuri today for my 6 plus in grey. Same with the rest of you, my cutouts on the bottom don't line up correctly. I've emailed them about it and see if they'll give me a replacement with better cutouts... I really only bought it for the no lip, closed bottom and individual holes for the speakers. I don't get why no where else sells it like that. (they do but in TPU which I dislike, I like the matte feel.) Still can't believe I paid ~$30 just for the closed bottom... >_< but it does look good.

I will update again with their reply...

I'll look forward to seeing the response you get.
