well out of the blue i received a package from shumari today..... another case although i had only ordered one and received it like a month ago. so i open it up, seems like updated package and now has a shumuri logo on the case. cut outs seem a lot better.

Mine came packaged just like this. Very professional. I think InCase uses the same packaging. I was most worried about the speaker holes but the line up perfectly. I think they're all perfectly cut out.

It is an Incase packaging. You'll find the Incase logo embossed somewhere on the package.

So what is the best way to get these cases off the phone? Once on I find it tight and difficult to remove. I usually slip my thumb nails down under the bottom corners and push them off. Any other tips?

I received an email from them like maybe in the 2nd or 3rd week of October saying the Plus cases shipping will delay until 1/11 & they will send a tampered glass screen protector as an apology for the delay.

I still didn't get sny shipping email though!

Those are just as good as the Shumuri. Considering the crap case I got from Shumuri, these can't be any worse at 1/10th the cost. In fact, own one of those open bottom cases and the fit is better than the Shumuri.

Shumuri seems overpriced for what it is.
Totally overpriced. Probably costs 10 cents of material to make each case. I totally get that you are paying for the design and engineering of the case. But at this price point, the case should be flawless and that's not what the aka Macrumor members are reporting.

I just received my Pasonomi case on Friday and I have to say...it doesn't hold a candle to the Shumuri.

After having the Shumuri for a little over a week, I've come to learn that it's really in a class all it's own for slim cases.

The Pasonomi has covers over the buttons which makes them feel awkward, is made of a gel material and some slightly more over the front than the Shumuri does (diminishing the rounded glass feel a bit more).

As much as I wish the Shumuri was made better, it really is the best "naked-style" case I've ever used.

Okay so I have two of these for the Plus - the frost clear and the blue one. They aren't going to work for me. I ended up going back to my white Apple silicone case and had forgotten how much I really like it.

The frost case has the holes on the bottom just a tad misaligned, but not terribly so. The blue case has the side by the volume buttons that initially wouldn't lay flat but that's been corrected with a rubber band overnight to pull it in tighter.

So I'm offering the Shumuri cases up to anyone that will really use them - no resellers please. Send me a PM with your name, address and which color you want. US shipping only.

Update: these are both spoken for.

A quick reply by Daniel Blackwood from Shumuri is willing to send me a replacement case without having me to return the misaligned case. Great customer service :)

Don't expect too much, although, the replacement case they've sent me has a little bit of improvement re the bottom cutouts compared to the first one.

Well if I'm paying $30 for it, it better be perfect or I'm asking for a refund. ;p if they don't refund me then I will charge back from Paypal.

Yes! Thats probably the best idea. I will ask for a refund as well as its not worth the money. :)

Speaking of Ebay, I just bought second one (clear) for 15$ sent from the US & there was another blue one available but I think that it is sold now. :D It was in the new packaging.

Thanks. Do you find that it scratches easy and fragile that it may break when you remove or put on?

I had two of these and ended up giving them away. I found them very hard to remove. I would use my thumbnails and press them under the corners of the case and push them off. Even with this very careful technique I found it very easy to marr the edge of the plastic. I did like the thinness of the case and the 360 edge coverage. But for me it just didn't me enough grip. I used a case just like this for my iPhone 5, but for the Plus I need a bit more grip.
