But the circuit board should be different between the two, unless the picture is made up and is not the actual internal of the iPhone.

If it matters that much to you, my humble suggestion is to not use it on whatever device you have. Personally (and to most), it really doesn't matter and looks good to me.

Oh, wait, that is a PC mother board!!! Probably with the picture of the A8 chip superimposed on it!

Yup.

Considering the iPhone doesn't have a CPU fan, SODIMM slots, VGA, nor USB.

Still looks cool though.

There are some actual wallpapers with the iPhone internals, however when the battery takes up more than half of the device, it looks kind of boring....

I'm sorry my photos aren't that great. Also, I used the iPhone 5s to take pictures, not a professional camera.

Yo LadyX, mind sharing that wallpaper? I kind of like it. Think I remember reading another post that you also have the Apple leather? Just curious which case you prefer??? And how's the Shumuri holding up? Thanks.......

Shumuri offers 2 slim cases, SLIM and SLIM EXTRA. The SLIM EXTRA is the newer version, same 0.3mm but thicker around camera cutout to protect the protruding camera and so it doesn't wobble when you put the iPhone 6/6+ on a flat surface -- to see what I'm talking about, go checkout the pictures I posted on the SLIM EXTRA thread.

The Apple leather and the Shumuri Slim Extra are two completely different cases. I don't really have a favorite. They are both great. I have the Shumuri on most of the time. If I'm doing an activity and I need to protect my phone more I put the Apple leather case on. So yes, I alternate between the two. And both Shumuri cases, the Slim I got a couple of months ago and the new Slim Extra are holding up just fine. They both look like new.

Mine is scratched up like no tomorrow :p

Hi,

I ordered a slim extra on saturday.
I'm still waiting to get an update on my order, it still shows that I paid but the fulfillment status says unfulfilled.
How long did it take for you to get your order send?

I ordered one last week and it took a good 4-5 days before they shipped it.

Really? I have a Shumuri and it's a pain in the rear to take it off. In fact, it's so tough that after the second time, a corner chipped off and I just ended up throwing the case away. I have a hard time believing that you can actually remove the case multiple times and have it still look like new. It's a nice case, but durability is not its strong point.

I have the Caudabe Veil (normal and the soon-to-be-released XT), which is similar, and I have no issues taking it on and off and have done so several times to switch between it and the Apple Leather.

The trick is slipping the corner off one bottom side then get the opposite side. A thumbnail push usually does it. Yes, you do have to be careful but it can be done and done over and over.

I don't care if you don't believe me. There's a way to easily remove cases like the Shumuri. Perhaps you don't know of it.

He may have one of the very early iterations which were very difficult to remove. Because all the cases I've got from them are really easy to remove.

Nice case, but shipping expertise???

LOL, I liked my first one, so ordered a second one . . . in early January! Shipping shows Hong Kong to the US to Germany and now preparing to be shipped back to the US

Wish they would just give in and sell via Amazon . . .

Hi, does anyone know if this case works with screen protectors that cover the edge such as iLoome or Mime?

Thanks

Hi!

Anyone has pictures from the GREY slim/slim extra on an iphone6 space grey?
I'm hesitating between this and the clear. I definitely want a translucent one where you can still see the iphone under.
Pics on shumuri website and from someone here make the case look... Brown?
Would be good if someone had nice pics to post to get an idea :)
Thanks

EDIT:
Found this one:

Still not sure if this is translucent enough for me

Okay so I swore up and down that I wasn't going to buy another case. But I couldn't resist the new Shumuri with the extra protection around the camera. I purchased the frost for my silver iPhone Plus. This version has much better aligned cutouts that the first version. Still not sure if I care for having to be extra careful due to the lack of grip of this case. If you are looking for a super minimal case - this is it. But at least this version is much better designed to fit the phone.

Received the new Shumuri yesterday. I have to say that I'm quite impressed with it. The Shumuri fits and looks great! Picked up the ocean blue for my silver iP6. I have a back protector on my phone so I knew going into it that it might throw off the alignment a little. The bottom cut-outs are off a tiny, tiny bit but otherwise everything else fits perfect. I'm fine with it. I also have the updated Caudabe Veil with the raised camera protection. I will say I prefer the Shumuri over the Caudabe. And not because of the full protection. What I like more on the Caudabe is the texture, it's a little rougher. The Shumuri is very smooth and slick. The Shumuri however looks and feels thinner than the Caudabe even though they both are 3.5mm. What I especially like on the Shumuri is the lip is quite noticeably lower than the Veil. The case stops right at the aluminum and the screen is raised above the case. This might be part of why it seems thinner to me.

I have followed this thread since it started and finally broke down and got the darn thing. Didn't necessarily need it but I'm very happy I did. When I case-up, the Apple leather is generally my go to option. Now my choice of what to put on just got much harder!!!

It's also worth noting that the rear protector I have provides superior grip on my phone than either of these 2 cases.

I have the even newer Caudate that provides full protection including the bottom and it stops right where the aluminum stops.

I just received my red and champagne slim extras. All cutouts perfect and love the new colors. Just a great slim case. Took about 2 weeks to arrive, and the tracking info never worked...but they are here! Nice packaging too!

Yeah, I've seen your posts on that. Are they ever releasing that thing or what???? Caudabe does have some of the best customer service ever, great company! I'm guessing that they are releasing it in frost and wisp only? For some reason I just don't like the frost on my silver phone, looks all washed out or something. I much prefer the contrast of blue against the white screen.
