I have three Shumuri Cases for my iphone 6+ when they had only 3 colors available. I used them for couple of months and now all of them dont fit properly near the volume part of the case. I have tried both the tape and the elastic band fix to take care of them.

Disappointed with these issues.

Wish Shumuri had the warranty like 12 months from Claudabe Viel

Yeah, in my experience all of these super thin cases will warp over time. I used that Caudabe warranty a couple of times on my 5s - they were really good about it. Just ordered the new Veil XT for my 6. It looks to be similar to if not the same as the Shumuri but cheaper.

Awww, they only have the XTf for the 6 and not the 6 plus?
My shumuri has the issue where that thin piece by the volume key is bulging out, so I was hoping to try out the XT. TT

I actually have an email to Caudabe on behalf of 6 Plus owning friends asking about this. I'd assume it's only a matter of time before a 6 Plus version is out. Would be weird to have it for the 6 only. Will let you know what they say.

Just received an email from SHUMURI that all products will be shipped with free shipping to USA alone.

Just curious. How does this happen? Is it just made this way? Or is this due to taking case off more than usual?

I think the Shumuri case is so thin and delicate (around the headphone port in particular) and is such a snug fit

Shumuri has updated their warranty and comes with 1 year warranty like Caudabe Viel. Love it. Now got to wait for that 50% promotion :)

Received my Shumuri Slim Extra and finally put it on. The case is a bit loose, but I thought that's acceptable because it's so thin it must be flexible.

The headphone hole is obviously not centred, but at least it doesn't interfere with the headphone plug.

For me the bigger issue is that the speaker holes don't align exactly.

Maybe I'll try out the Caudabe XT next time.

I received my Shumuri Slim Extra today and the fit is loose on mine as well. I'm not happy with it but I love how the case looks. Are these things just hit and miss? Perhaps I should contact them about it. I bought the red one for a space gray 6. Shipping was fast and free - it arrived in 3 business days.

Yeah, they are very hit and miss. I've now given up on these type of cases. My 1st Shumuri extra was the ocean blue and the fit was tight but the cut-outs along the bottom were pretty off and the case scratched up so easily. My 2nd Shumuri was clear frost and had a loose fit. Got the Caudabe XT, the fit and cut-outs were absolutely perfect but the super thin piece of plastic by the volume buttons has already become really loose and sticks up now after only a few weeks. Love the idea of these cases but they just don't hold up very well in my experiences with them.

I think it's a multi use code. I got the same code from Shumuri too.

I just bought one of these cases last week! It sure isn't worth $22 and it would have been nice to get $6 or $7 off.

My 2 cents on Shumuri cases.

I've purchased both the Shamuri Slim and Smoothie cases.

The slim fit well at first, but after about 6 weeks my phone started moving within the case. I was afraid it would eventually start scratching, so I removed the case. I put some clear masking tape on the inside to try and take up some of the slack, but the case didn't fit right along the front edges and annoyed me. I removed the case.

I did like how it covered the entire phone, but as I mentioned worried about it ruining my iPhone.

I thought I would try the Smoothie cases so ordered 3 cases in total...white, black and orange. All three were very big disappointments. The bottom, top volume button edges were extremely sharp. So sharp they could actually cut you if not careful. I ended up taking a nail file to smooth them out, but should have to do this to such an expensive case.

Case does have a nice feel, but extremely slippery in hand. I do worry about dropping the phone when removing from my pocket. The top and bottom are not covered as well like the Slim case. I expected the top to be covered as well, but could not see on their website.

Additionally, there were specs of dust under the paint on the white and black cases. I did contact Shumuri for a replacement, but have not seen the cases yet.

Their website does not accurately show the color of the orange case. The case is more neon in person and less soft orange as shown on their website. Its really not a nice looking orange and would not recommend.

I really wanted to return all 3 Smoothie cases, but when took it to the UPS store I found out it was over $25 to ship all three with a tracking number. This was shipping via USPS and at the cheapest rate. Shumuri recommends adding tracking number and I did not want the packages to get lost in the mail. At this point I figured it was just cheaper to keep the cases.

Even with the sales and promotions Shumuri offers, be sure to take shipping costs back to China if you do not like. Its NOT cheap. I did email Shumuri to try and replace the orange case for a white one, but they wanted me to ship it back at my expense for shipping. Guess that the price to pay for buying online and not in a store. In the end it would make more sense for me to buy a new white case as its almost the same cost as shipping my orange one back to China. I did not like the case enough to buy a fourth one.

Would I buy either a Slim or Smooth case again? Absolutely NO. I bought a $3 case off eBay that is equally if not better than both of these Shumuri cases. I've read other cases can be found on Amazon that are as nice, cheaper or even similar in style. I would go that route personally.

That is a nice case!! Keeps your phone thin, yet protects it from a drop. Seems like it wont attract dust like any other silicon / rubber cases.

Really not sure which one to get!

Currently have a Shumuri Slim on my iPhone 6, but its starting to become loose.

So I'm now trying to decide between the Shumuri Slim Extra and the Veil XT

Hmmmm

Hmmmm[/QUOTE}

I've had the Shumuri Slim Extra since February, and it has become loose by the volume buttons. I think this will happen with all of these cases eventually.
