I personally would not do this. You give up too many rights. See if package can be routed to a UPS or FDX facility if you cannot be there. FDX makes it crazy to do.. UPS not so much.Delivery to an address? Yes. But you can leave the pre-signed release form on your door and then the package will be left on whenever you wrote it on the form
Agreed. In my case, since I live in an apartment, I asked them to leave it in the leasing office instead.I personally would not do this. You give up too many rights. See if package can be routed to a UPS or FDX facility if you cannot be there. FDX makes it crazy to do.. UPS not so much.

Then wait near your front door and don't let the delivery guy leave. Before you sign, check the content of the box.I'm going to be home. I am worried I am going to receive an empty box like others on here.
Signature doesn't need to be an adult.Yes, Apple requires an adult signature for iPhone X. Ultimately, it's up to the delivery person to leave the package or not without signature and/or accept the pre-sign release form.
Wow thats scary. Leaving a phone that is more than $1000 at you door step. When I ordered the X, it told me signature was required, and UPS required a signatureI’ve had both an 8+ and the X delivered to my home in the last month. The shipping details for both stated “no signature required”. My 8+ was actually left outside my door. Fortunately someone answered the door for the X delivery.
Apple has always required a signature for expensive items like phones, watches, etc for the last 10 years of buying stuff from them. It comes by FedEx and you can presign for it by printing out the form and putting it on your door.
It has changed now and if you device is delivered by UPS, they can just toss at the door and leave.
Changed in the last 3 weeks? I just bought an Apple watch S3 Nike, and it came by FedEx and required a signature.

And I was talking about FedEx in my post which is what Apple uses 90% of the time. Please go back and read it again.
and I was talking about UPS. I was only pointing out the difference.
