FDA ends 14-year ban on silicone breast implants...
Ooh...and it gets the big red "Breaking News" banner!
Wonderful. Now I'm going to go play with some.
Welcome to the rest of the world America. Not that I'm getting them done here but its good they're finally giving people an option besides that saline crap...
TBH I don't know I like the idea of implants, people should be happy with their breasts, (and bodies in general) how they are. However people should be allowed to have them if they want to.
Here, Here. Preach on.
What is all this "should" business?
With the question, you've managed nicely to lump in Silicone Valley, the subjunctive and free will. Pretty impressive, but hard to keep abreast.
This is great news...
*runs off to convince girlfriend*
But the real question is, which ones feel better?
Silicone or Saline?
They're both unpleasant. I far prefer natural body parts. I don't find that oversized = more attractive. Quite the opposite, in fact.
ASilicone, wiothout a doubt.
Huh. I didn't even know they were gone.
I'm sure the entire city of Los Angeles noticed
This just in...
Prices of computing components have shot up world wide as most of the silicon is now being diverted to the Los Angeles area of the USA.
Oh wait, silicone, not silicon.
*looks at BSc (Chem) hanging on wall, looks at post, hangs head in shame*
Silicone actually contains Silicon so you are at least partly right, the rest is hydrocarbons (oil).
Give me a flat chested girl with hard protruding nipples to... (sensored)
Good news. Saline both looked and felt just awful -- would never have considered it.
What's the difference. Just fill a bag full of jelly and just squish it in there. The type of soft material they put in there makes no difference to me. I think it's all a bit strange.
<whipes a tear of joy from eye and slowly claps in appreciation>
God bless fake t*ts. And real ones. But especially fake ones.
I'm a firm believer in real ones, but I cant stand silicones.
My grandmother had a HUGE breast cancer scare when she had strange marks and welts appearing on her breasts. She had to have biopsies and surgeries and they finally figured out it was ruptured implants done decades ago.
They had to remove them but they were so well encapsulated that the removal caused serious cosmetic damage and required reconstructive surgery to get her looking even remotely normal.
I second that notion
finaly someone has figured out that huge milk sacks are nasty
A+B and sometimes C
I'm with ya on this!
Saline is far far more watery feeling than any kind of silicone which has always felt firmer and more realistic. Saline also doesn't keep its form if it ruptures like silicone will. Also if a silicone implant ruptures it doesn't leak into the body like a saline pouch would. So it does make a difference.
