What kind of white is this? Off white, pure white? Cool or warm toned white? I liked the silver on the 12 Pro Max, but went for the gold, which I love. But I'm really curious about this year's white/ silver because there are so few photos and videos out there showcasing this combo. Can you try to explain?

Here
Once Apple went to the brownish Space Grey/Graphite I've bounced between other colors. For the 12 Pro I had the Silver model and it was very pristine, but scratched significantly worse than my Space Grey model. This year I went with Sierra Blue. I thought Pacific Blue was too dark, but Sierra Blue is like Pacific Blue and Silver merged.

Still hard to be classic Silver though.

I am also loving my silver 13 Pro Max. I was considering going for the Sierra Blue this year but once I had the silver 13 Pro Max in hand, I knew that was the color for me. Silver and white is such a classic and classy color combination. I think it also has to do with the contrast between the 2 colors that I really like.

If you are not aware of this yet, the silver on the 13 Pro models do not have s protective coating the sides of the phone. It will scratch a lot easier the the other colors. Gold, Sierra Blue and Graphite do have a protective coating on them.

It's been years since I had a white Apple iPhone. Last year I liked the Pacific Blue, but thought it was too dark, so I went for the Gold. This year for 13 Pro Max I'm now torn between Sierra Blue and Silver.

White/ silver is the quintessential Apple design combo. Sierra Blue is nice, but after seeing it in person, I'm surprised at how grey it is. It is literally light grey with a hint of blue. In m eyes, I think it's slightly more masculine.

I don't know. Can't choose now.

In between sierra blue or silver. Originally wasn’t going to upgrade but Verizon offered me an early upgrade that I can’t refuse From my 11 pro max.

Tbh I didn’t expect to like the white one but now that I have it in person I LOVE IT! So classy! It’s like a frosted white, so nice and clean with the silver edges, the silver edges are also noticeable from the front if you have a case on your phone, overall I’m so satisfied with this color, I was so close to getting sierra blue but I had a pacific blue 12 pro max so I wanted to change it up.

But the other thing is that you can polish the scratches out. This is preferable to all the other colours. You are free to scratch up the sides and it all goes away when you feel like it. It also matches my SS Apple Watch. This is scratched up like all my other watches but the fine scratches are like patina and I like it and don’t want to remove it.

Same for the phone.

I noticed this at the Apple store for the iPhone 12 lineup. They had all the colors on display and most of them were in good shape except the silver model. It looked really beat up.

seeing it actually made me change my mind about buying the silver stainless steel watch. May opt for graphite now.
