Thank you for this. I’ve gotten silver every year since the XS Max but decided to get sierra blue this year. I feel so high maintenance for this but I’m returning it for a silver one. Silver stainless steel and matte white glass is just in my DNA

I noticed this at the Apple store for the iPhone 12 lineup. They had all the colors on display and most of them were in good shape except the silver model. It looked really beat up.

seeing it actually made me change my mind about buying the silver stainless steel watch. May opt for graphite now.

You can polish the sides on the silver though. The others you are stuck with any scratches you might get (same with the watch).

I do like the look of the Silver. It would be my second choice, but still doesn’t come close to the Graphite for me. In my opinion, Graphite is the most premium looking colourway.

Really like this colour. I have to say I’m not normally indecisive but I actually really like all 4 colours.
I like the Gold, Graphite, Silver and Blue. They’re all really nice versions of each colour. The blue is probably the best blue on a phone I’ve seen. The gold is bling but still subtle enough. Silver is just clean and classic iPhone. And the graphite is just a jewel of a black phone.

wise choice!

The silver is on another level. That’s the dark horse coming from behind to win the game!!

silver btw is always sold out.

Phone is beautiful, played with one last Saturday while at Apple store getting my battery replaced on my X. If I do decide to upgrade in December, white 13 Pro Max would be my choice

Seeing this, I want to return my Sierra Blue ...
Same here. I just picked up SB and not all that thrilled with it. I guess I bit into the marketing hype. I’ve always gone black phones, but it’s nice to have a new option. I thought SB would be that for me. But I’m not so sure now. Silver is looking mighy good now.

I usually go for the silver color until this year. I just wanted to try the blue this year but I always liked the "plain" silver color.

The white/silver color is definitely classy, but I went with Sierra Blue since it will probably only be available for the 13, and I can always go with white next year.

Really dislike the silver models, always have. I just don’t like white phones, they scream cheap to me. Of the four colours it’d be my last choice, always.

Today I had a pick for an iPhone 13 PM in silver, but to me it has a very slight tint of gold/yellow. It looked that way in the Apple website, but in pictures it looks super white. I went to the store and the silver again looked goldish to me. I couldn't tell if it was silver or gold. Maybe the lighting? I canceled the order and checked Apple.com and saw a graphite in stock! I ordered it right away.

Tbh I didn’t expect to like the white one but now that I have it in person I LOVE IT! So classy! It’s like a frosted white, so nice and clean with the silver edges, the silver edges are also noticeable from the front if you have a case on your phone, overall I’m so satisfied with this color, I was so close to getting sierra blue but I had a pacific blue 12 pro max so I wanted to change it up.
I was thinking the same thing when I chose the silver since I came from a midnight green 11 pro, I wanted to change up the color and I am in love with it. I’m just scared since I have an apple leather case, will the stainless steel edges be prone to scratches more?

I've always try to get silver/white models nowadays for my iPhone Pro phones as the silver untreated and unpainted steel band is easier to work with, easier to keep clean, and if it does get scratched much much easier to buff of the scratches .

There was a time when i avoided the silver/white iphones, during the pre iPhone X days, where the whitemodels always has that white screen bezel/face, making the screen portion look cheap. The black on black face with white back looks much more classy in my opinion

I had a 7+ and XS Max in gold when it was the pinker rose gold. When they switched colors (to actual gold) I went to the 12 pro max in Silver. I was really nervous about the micro scratches but read the thread on how easy it was to buff it etc. I change my case every month and other than wipe my phone down with a soft cloth that’s all I’ve done in the year I’ve had the 12 pro max. I have no obvious scratches and it wasn’t high maintenance at all.

Coming from an iPhone 12 Pro Max in Pacific Blue, I was tempted by the new blue this year. But since I already had a blue phone, I went with the silver/white combo for my iPhon13 PM. It's a very stylish combo. Looks great in a Dark Cherry case from Apple!
Curious:
How can you see anything if it's in a non-clear case? Is it just the color around the camera lenses?

Also, I've ordered the white. It seems clean and simple. That's good. It's classic and solid. Not sure I feel it's gonna be amazing though. I'd have much preferred the Cyberpunk Bronze there were rumors about. Also if they'd done a 5S space gray I would have jumped at that. That was the best colored iphone so far IMO.

The Apple white/ silver is very modern and sophisticated. They constantly improve on this color combo. Lots of creative/ designer people I know only buy the white, just like some groups of people only buy graphite. I cannot explain how pretty it is in person.

Last year when I got the gold, I thought it looked really premium and expensive, then when I saw a lady carrying hers in white, I was blown away. We kept staring at each other and each other's phones in the grocery aisle, it was hilarious.

Apple nails all its pro colors. If you put all 4 colors on the table, it's a very well thought out/ cohesive collection. Hence, it's incredibly hard to make a decision.:);):)
