Silver, Space Grey or Gold? Which did you get and why?

just going by the poll in this thread the black/space grey is bought 3 to 1 compared to the other colors. that's 3 times the potential customers.

another reason I don't buy the white face phones is that I'm afraid that the white will discolor or yellow over time.

Not necessarily. More black phones = More competition = Lower Selling Price from what I have seen.

Honestly I could care less how much I get for the phone when I resell it, I buy whatever color because its the one I wanted. I had a black iPhone 4, Silver iPhone 5, Gold iPhone 5s and now a Silver iPhone 6 Plus. I wish I had gotten Space Gray, in fact its the one I originally wanted. Problem was, I wanted one of the, if not the most popular configs (Verizon/64GB/SG) so when I went to preorder it was out of stock unless I wanted to wait until mid/late October.

I liked the 5ses more Champagne colored aluminum then this years gold. I have seen all three colors and I still think Space Gray looks the best, then silver and gold. Which is funny because that is the exact opposite of how I felt last year (Gold, Silver, Space Gray).
 
Space Grey for me

my 5S is gold/white, but I prefer the Black iPhone models for some reason. I don't mind the 5S colour as the design compliments the white/gold well, and my iPhone 5 is black

Everytime I try to go the white colour, I always find myself wishing I had a black one. It just seems more neutral and I like how it brings out the screen, even if it collects dust more visibly.
 
I bought the 6 on launch day (Space Grey) then I sold it and bought the 6 Plus (Space Grey).

I had a gold 5s, last year. Hated the white bezels. All my iPhone we're black except the 5s.
 
Space grey for me. My wife has the gold which looks nice. I know people say the white bands stick out on the gold, but I find it compliments it nicely.

I came from white iPhone 5. I must say the space grey iPhone 5S was very sleek.
 
White because it hides fingerprints better, and since most of what I do has light colored backgrounds the black bezel stands out too much. I chose silver over gold because that's what they had and I don't spend much time looking at the back of my phone.
 
I just got the iPhone 6+. I chose white face because I thought the black bezels make the screen look small. The screen has a white background for most of what I do and the white bezels give the illusion the screen is larger, IMHO. I went with gold but like silver as well.
 
Originally went with the space gray, but in my switch to AT&T this week I ended up going for gold. It's beautiful honestly.
 
I have a gold 5s and going to buy the 6 plus in the upcoming week.

I am having a hard time deciding between the space gray and gold.

Good choice! I went back and forth a lot. I really liked my gold 5S. But for the 6 Plus I went with the SG. Before making the decision, I had seen quite a few of both out in the wild. On recent flights I sat next to passengers with both Gold and SG, and really liked the look of the SG. So went with the SG . . .
 
The Space Gray b/c it just looks gorgeous. Ever since they showed it at Apple's September event, I was in love with the black one. Just looks sleek with a touch of badassness. And yes this is an actual replica of my phone #

I got the Space Grey because I always get the black iPhones. I do wish it was a bit blacker and more in line with the original iPhone 5 color scheme. I also have a white iPad Air that I WISH I had purchased in Space Grey instead of the white.
 
I wish they would manufacture a gold phone with a black front. Thar would be extremely neat...:cool:
 
I've finally conceded! Space grey is the best colour and I'm glad that it's the one I got. I wanted gold or silver and ended up with space grey as it was the only colour available in 128GB. After 2 months with it I've come to the conclusion that it is the best colour. It looks elegant and sleek.

But you are a girl, how can you say that?! Are you not worried about the masculinity oozing from your pocket every time you use it? :p

I like them all really. I think if somebody gave me a Gold or Space Grey I wouldn't grumble. I only chose Silver this time because I liked it on my iPhone 5. I am yet to have my sexuality questioned too lol. :)
