is this what everyone is talking about??
it isn't that bad. i have always found that americans are very strict with nudity and censorship etc but in australia no one cares as long as they are warned what the content is and the rating of it is. you can say the f word on autralian tv. in the lastest justin timberlake video where it says f@#k over and over agin not one beep or censor and this is like at 12 pm and 3 pm in the afternoon.

A Simpsons movie is coming out!? Wow. First I heard of it. The french fry scene looks necessary, really. my 6 yo doesn't get most Simpsons episodes, but I can see him laughing at that...

I asked several key Simpsons personnel whether they thought they would still be making new episodes five years from now. Nobody was undiplomatic enough to say no, and Groening spoke of a pain barrier analogous to running a marathon: several years ago, he argued, they broke through it, and now their capacity for generating new storylines seemed limitless. Brooks was cagey, and Azaria still less sure: "I'm pretty sure we'll be doing it in another year or two," he said.

I don't really find Simpsons funny anymore, even after watching some of the older episodes (by "older", I mean anything between season 5 to 15, more or less).

i know there is a bunch of anime in japan that is banned/censored in america because of nudity, so seeing it in animation is not new.

Actually, it's very rare to find uncensored porn (live or animated, or on paper) in Japan, but it's rarely censored in the U.S. And most of the titles not available in the U.S. are because they portray minors, not because they contain nudity.
