No problem. For installation, just run the MacFUSE installer first, then run the NTFS-3G installer and restart your system. Nothing more to it really- no configuration or anything is necessary after the installation.:)

Thanks for the tip! So in theory this will also let me write to my NTFS partition on my Mac's internal drive, right?

i have solved the issue _LOL. I'm sending the pics to my e-mail and than downloading them to my Harddrive. thats how far i have come with the MAC.
i got this thing 10 days and i already hate it. thats a bad sign - i know.

I know you're new to Apple, but please please please say "Mac". Why do people want to type MAC??? Where does that impulse come from?

It certainly should- it should write correctly to any NTFS formatted device/partition attached. The one I write to (seldom) is an internal drive in my Mac Pro.

thank you sickmacdoc, the two programms you gave to me workin fine.
now i can move all the pictures around no matter what. thank you for
your help ... its sandeman...

Microsoft should have someone kick them between the legs and get going with new technologies. Comparing the efficiency of the NTFS to HFS+ filesystem is comparing a mouse to a cat er... I mean Leopard :D. Sooner or later, it will be caught and eaten.

There's an argument that the HFS filesystem (of which HFS+ is just a bandage) is archaic and needs to be replaced.

With what? ZFS, perhaps. Or even Ext4 (yeah, right).
