Canadian Eh!
Siri has been confirmed that it will run on iPhone 4 using a jailbreak.

According to iPhone hackers @iH8sn0w and @Gojohnnyboi, you’ll be able soon to install & enable Siri on your iPhone 4 thanks to the jailbreak community. Both the hackers were working to port iPhone 4S’ A5-only Siri feature on A4 devices as the iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G.

The progress looks like to be going great. iH8sn0w has confirmed on his Twitter that Siri feature is not made for A5 devices only. In other words, it can be ported on A4 devices too.
Excellent news. Siri is not just compiled specifically for the A5 (s5l8940x) processor. Thanks @Gojohnnyboi :)
That’s good news for all iPhone 4 users who are not willing to buy an iPhone 4S. Since iPhone 4S’ biggest feature is coming to the iPhone 4, some people may not get it.

However, the iPhone 4S includes a lot of big features too as the powerful A5 dual-core processor and its 8 megapixel camera with 1080 video recording ability.

In case you want to get Siri on your iPhone 4, you’ll need to wait for a while so that the hackers can port it successfully.

Well, this ought to make a lot people happy. iOS 5 + Siri on iPhone 4 is a good deal. I just wonder how it'll perform, in comparison with the 4S.

Either way, I'm thrilled to have gotten the 4S this morning. The bigger storage and getting it in white (for the first time ever) have made it totally worth it. Everything else are bonuses.

Doesn't Siri connect to Apple's servers? If you were to run this on the iPhone 4 wouldn't Apple block access to it?

Im gonna go with maybe. But that's the beautiful
Thing about hacking is you can also change how it identifies itself to servers.

Im so glad I didnt waste my money on the 4S.

I wouldn't say "confirmed" just yet, but I'm definitely excited. Also happy I didn't upgrade. My iP4 is more than enough to tide me over until iPhone 6.

Since the iPhone 4S runs nearly twice as fast as the iPhone 4, will you guys really be happy with a personal assistant that is like a temp from Manpower? I would keep your expectations low...

to make this real all we know is that a couple of known hackers are working on it. We Still don't know if it will work at all, Or how well it will work. ;)
