This is a gimmick that is a few generations away from being practical and a few generations beyond that from being stand alone.

It kind of is an issue. It responds to anything that sounds like "Hey Siri."

I've wondered about this and the watch. I had to turn off this feature on my phone when it would activate randomly while I was at home watching TV. At first it was funny, then it became annoying.

I believe the watch only listens for the phrase "Hey Siri" when you raise your wrist, so it hopefully shouldn't be an issue.

Reviews seem to say it will not pull a web search blurb or a few lines of info.

“[A]sking Siri specific questions on the watch often leads you right back to the iPhone.

Hey Siri, what time is the national championship on? Siri: Use Handoff to search the web for [insert question] on your iPhone.

Hey Siri, how much rain has fallen in California this year? Use Handoff to search the web for [insert question] on your iPhone.”

This is what I was worried about, I have no clue why they couldn't get Siri to list a few lines pulled from a web search, that usually shows the answer.

But at least it will do math and simple conversions, I guess we will have to wait for iOS 9 and watch software updates for better support.
