Siri getting really personable!

I thought I can change the voice of Siri? Not sure I don't own 4S.

If it (sorry Siri lovers it's not "she") was'nt such a pre-programmed gimmick, I wouldn't be so critical. Siri is nothing more than a marketing gimmick Apple pulled out of their hat when they failed to deliver iPhone 5.

Instead they coughed up Siri, to entertain the easily amused masses. This bought Apple time to decide what their next move would be.

Godlike to many, Apple is just another company. If not for the obsessive money worship this crowd is plagued with, Apples influence would collapse.

I won't be so harsh since Siri's pretty useful for setting appointments and timers which I do a lot, but it is a bit disappointing that all these answers seemed preprogrammed.

When Apple bought Siri, what did they pay for actually? The context stuff is a bit weak because it's only useful in a few situations like if you ask "What's the weather in New York" and then "how about San Francisco?", instead of having to say "What's the weather in San Francisco?".
