Such as?I’ll only consider buying the alleged 2023 HomePod if it’s packed with new next-level features. The OG HomePods continu to serve me very well. Love them still.
Too true. If Apple is releasing new chips every year then they should be releasing new Macs with those chips in them every year. It's not like the engineers are kept in the dark about what's upcoming in the new chips, or aren't given early access to pre-production units.Skipping M2, I guess. It's pretty silly that even after moving off Intel, Apple still won't do regular revisions of the internals.
That MacPro will have a base price two times the cost of the 2019 base model.that macPro will be mental.
Too bad they're handicapping the Macbook Air with limits on the RAM. Don't understand why they wouldn't allow 32GB in one. After getting my 14" Pro with 16GB, never again do I skimp on RAM.
LOL that's exactly what I thought...what's the point of this site if not to spread rumors??Post it on MacBelieveItWhenISeeIt.com not MacRumors.com
Me either as long as it does not cost as much as the MBP.
Not if it's set to arrive during 2H of 2023We don't have anything more then a base M2, yet this spin that a future iMac will have a M3 is just strange.
The last three pro desktop Macs (trashcan Mac Pro, iMac Pro, current cheese grater Mac Pro) that Apple sold were announced during WWDC and went on sale in December of the same year. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple announced the Apple Silicon Mac Pro during WWDC 2023 and have it go on sale December 2023. Yes, that would mean the full transition would be a year late but oh well. Not a huge deal really.i honestly wouldn’t mind if this happened this way, at least we’d have a road map for it and could plan accordingl…
The transition promise doesn't take into account the difficulty of converting an upgradable intel Mac workstation to a fixed design Apple Silicon Mac workstation like all the other Apple Mac products. The last three pro desktop Macs (trashcan Mac Pro, iMac Pro, current cheese grater Mac Pro) that Apple sold were announced during WWDC and went on sale in December of the same year. The reality here is that this will never be more than a M Series Pro SOC machine, as long as the Mac Studio remains a M series Max and Ultra SOC machine… so that’s not going to be a headline grabber… the more interesting question is why its still being sold and I can only surmise that Apple had agreements to buy certain quantities of Intel good and keeping that Mini on Intel helped fulfil some contractual obligation…Let's not forget that we still have the Intel Mac mini. The Mac Pro isn't the only Intel machine left
Where did Tim say that?Where is the updated Intel based Mac Pro Tim Cook said a couple years ago they'd deliver?
and how do you know that? That MacPro will have a base price two times the cost of the 2019 base model.
I disagree. We still have 3nm, 2nm chips to come out and also hardware based RT and then who knows.I dont see how mac products are groundbraking anymore. Their just new revisions.
Isn't changing the chip considered a revision? The consumer couldn't care less how many nanometers the chip is. It doesn't add anything but a bit more performance in the long run.I disagree. We still have 3nm, 2nm chips to come out and also hardware based RT and then who knows.
