Yes. But as long as you don't claim to be a skater. It's like that little slut Avril Lavegne. I want to beat her head in with a bat. "I'm a skater girl, tee hee." YOU AIN'T ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really need to start meditating.

Acting like a skater when you're NOT is pretty pathetic.

I'm not a skateboarder personally, but I think that it's cool and I wear skater clothes sometimes, because I really like them.
Does that make me a fake?

Depends if you're hot?! :p

too many "used-to" skaters on here. then again i've only been skating 6 years so most of you would laugh at my young and strange ways. got a huge crete park across from my house now though, skate it everyday.

Just another "used-to" skater. I started back in '76. Skated regularly up until '82. Not anymore. I am far too old. No longer invincible like I used to be.

I've been skating 8 years. Must be nice to have a park across from your house. Any good spots there?

haha god no. small town of 1000 means no real artistic buildings or architechture. but now we've got the best kept and maintained parks in canada. only took a year of fundraising for the $350,000cdn park too. Our little town is getting quite a bit of headlines lately.

Haha. I would never claim to be a skater, that would be stupid when I'm not. I just like some of the brands and the styles of things they have, and Vans are some of my favorite shoes, even though they're kinda sold-out now... oh, and I don't wear the actual skating ones, I wear these, or at least ones similar to this style: http://beckersurf.com/ProductDetails.asp?product_id=20715&product_subgroup_id=147

Also, I just like clothing styles of Element, Volcom, etc.

I still wear a lot of skate clothes because I'm hard on my clothes. The stuff tends to be fairly durable, so I keep buying it.

"Skated" on and off for about 5 years. I finally gave up at last summerish. Everyone I skated with lived a few towns over so when summer came and we weren't seeing eachother in school, we became distant. They all stopped skating too except for one kid got back into it. He picked it back up a few weeks ago and he's the one with the most potential in our "group". I still snowskate though, now that is just plain fun, seeing as I spend most of my time in the winter skiing. I just come back to the house, set up a rail and snowskate for hours. Also fun to make movies because then you get an excuse to use your Mac;).

ironically me and most of my friends don't really wear skate clothes. the odd branded hoody and shoes, but i get dressed at value village. whatever fits.

Another ex skater here from way back when. I used to practically live at the Southsea skate park, skipping lots of school for those blissful days of empty concrete, didn't do much for my exam results though  I was skating between 83 and 89, using mainly Powell and Santa Cruz boards with Indy & Tracker trucks. I still keep my hand in, or is that feet, with a Vew-Do balance board and a pair of Vans hidden under my desk in the office, I would highly recommend one to you old skool skaters out there.

I used to, about 5 years ago now. used to go to Bones skatepark in Stockport. was great there :) just got bored of it. I only got into it because my brother had a board, we were on holiday, made an overnight stop at the Poland/Germany frontier border (don't know its full name). He was bashing around on it so I asked if I could have a go. Went and did a pop shuv-it on my first go :D landed perfectly and everything. but thats all I got to. I did an impossible once up a curb but that was a fluke.

Bro was really good. turned to drugs and got ****. ho hum.

I can just about move on a skateboard without falling off... (with someone pushing me). I am soo much better at tennis... And err jumping... (online gaming *cough*).

Good point -

add me to the "used to skate" list. Although I still have a couple of boards around that I like to take through the motions. One is strapped next to my front door - it makes me less popular with the neighbors- but it's good for me.

Skated from '76 to '89. Bad accident sidelined that. Built a halfpipe in a friend's music studio last year. First time on it he snapped his wrist.
