Skins/Stickers for Smart Keyboard Folio?

I contacted them asking whether it covered both sides and they said yes, it does.

I ordered the natural leather version for my 11” on January 2nd. Reached out on the 9th to inquire about my order which shows as “processesing”...

No reply from slickwraps.

Giving them until the 16th before I file a dispute with PayPal.

I did notice that the price for the natural series went up to $59.99 (without their ongoing 50%, 60%, 70% off sales) but when I ordered it was listed at $39.99.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed the price increase as well. I was going to order but noticed several threads or comments (don’t remember which) about them taking a really long time to ship and not communicating with buys. That makes me a little hesitant to buy from them. However, I haven’t seen the real leather or wood for sale anywhere else. Please let me know how things turn out with your order.

My 11” cyan Alcantara cover shipped Friday and arrived today. Simple install and I’m very pleased with how it changes the look and feel of the Smart Keyboard cover. It hides all the smudges and scuffs very well.

I also got a sticker to make the pencil look like a real pencil, but I didn’t like how it changed the feel of the Apple Pencil so I took it off right after applying it.

Also pictured is a “vintage apple” iPad decal that I’ve had since I got the iPad. I love it a lot.

You have me an idea. I like the look of collecting stickers on my iPad but at the same time, I hate the idea of blemishing such a beautiful device.

I’m going to order one of those cheap folio cases and put my stickers on that. When I want a clean iPad, just snap it off and voila!

Still very satisfied with mine. I will say that it had an overpowering, industrial, foul scent of adhesive for about a week when I first got it. The smell faded over time and is no longer detectable, but brace yourself for it.

How long does it take Slickwraps to ship? I ordered their natural wood skin for my Apple keyboard folio. Placed my order last 4 days ago. Even paid for the fedex 2 day shipping. I received the email confirmation of the order but haven’t received a shipped email yet. Doesn’t do me a lot of good to pay for faster shipping if I have to wait a long time for it to actually ship.

I purchased one of the wood skins from the natural series. It’s been a week since I ordered and paid for FedEx two day shipping. I emailed Slickwraps and they replied today. They said the natural series is shipping but they’re backed up from so many sales. From the pictures in this thread it doesn’t look like the skins wrap around the keyboard so there shouldn’t be any issues with folding.

No, not at all. Folds up just fine.

Does the skin actually cover areas that fold or am I misunderstanding? The pics I’ve seen in this thread doesn’t look like any part of the skin covers any area that folds on keyboard folio.

The wrap does't cover the hinges, I was questioning if the extra thickness would interfere in some way with keyboard folding the whole way back around flat.

Your right. Looks like the price went up by $20! At least they’re always on some type of sale. Unless I’m super impressed, i doubt I’ll order from them again. I’m 9 days in and it still hasn’t shipped. Slickwraps blamed it on high volume of sales because of their recent sales events. But they’re always running a sale event. They should have a better process in place at this point.

Same boat. Kinda ticked off. When I ordered on 2/6, it said that it should be received in 4-6 business days. It has a tracking number, but hasn't yet been received by USPS after a week. This is very misleading, and dishonest. I actually decided not to return my keyboard folio for a refund because I had already ordered the Slick Wrap. Had I known....

Their return/cancellation policy is not very friendly either. I should be able to cancel this order because it will not arrive as expected (I needed it before I travel at the end of the month, but that doesn't look like it is going to happen).

I waited for over a month for my Slickwraps order to be shipped. Gave up and filled a dispute via PayPal...which a refund was granted when SlickWraps did not respond to the dispute. So I ended up ordering my skins from https://www.istyles.com/ and they were delivered within 3 days.

I told their CS that I’m not sure way they would even offer a faster shipping option if they have no intention of actually getting anything shipped in a timely manner. They were not rude but clearly didn’t care.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ll order from them again for the same reason. I’m really happy with my decal from iStyles. My December Slickwraps order still isn’t here, partly because they are super slow and partly because PayPal gave them my maiden name and USPS wouldn’t deliver it and then Slickwraps was slow in sending it back out again.

Just a heads up for anyone considering placing an order from Slickwraps. Do yourself a favor BEFORE you order and google “Slickwraps slow shipping” or something similar. Wow, they have some awful shipping and customer service reports.

There’s even multiple Reddit threads from people that emailed them multiple times asking to return a product only to have Slickwraps not reply until after the return period was over.

Multiple PayPal and credit card disput threads against them. Amazingly, all the emails sound familiar, sorry for the delay sniping it’s because of the high volume of sales from or current sale.

I should have know better than to trust a company with a “sale” timer that just resets itself. That’s somewhat despective in itself. The sale really isn’t ending, it’s restarting.

I just hope I finally get my product so I can cut ties with them.

I just received mine today. Placed the order early morning February 6. I paid for two day shipping and it arrived this evening.

I must say, I’m impressed with the look and feel. I know it’s only been a few hours but I like it. The natural walnut looks really good on the Apple folio.

Just received notification that the USPS finally received the item for shipment in their system, although SW claimed that it was handed off on 2/7. Should arrive Monday. Maybe there is a typo on their site and they really mean that items should arrive in 4-6 business weeks?
