I bought the "Venom" from Skinwraps, although I love the cover, (it looks great and has a "rough" feel to it that is easy to grip). I will say however, it is VERY hard to put on without getting air bubbles, also once you have it fully applied it is darn near impossible to move the bubbles to the edges. I am hoping these go away over time, but I have my doubts.

On a side, they seem to have a really good customer service and a decent "goof up" policy where they will send you a new one (at the cost of $6 shipping).

Also one last note, although shipping was "kinda" slow, it wasn't too bad (week and half maybe)

Let me know if anyone is interested at seeing pictures.

Just received notification that the USPS finally received the item for shipment in their system, although SW claimed that it was handed off on 2/7. Should arrive Monday. Maybe there is a typo on their site and they really mean that items should arrive in 4-6 business weeks?

Their CS and shipping department are horrible. I finally received my skin and so far I’m really pleased with it, but there’s just no excuse for their CS.

I wanted to update since I’ve had a good experience with SlickWraps this time around.

I ordered last week, got shipping confirmation (label created) yesterday and checked USPS later and sure enough USPS had the package that day.

This was for black alcanterra for my keyboard folio.

I’ll post some pics after installation tomorrow.

Finally got my black leather skin for the 12.9 KB folio, and have to say that I'm less than thrilled. While I expected the usual imperfections that are consistent with genuine leather, the product has a deep scratch that appears to have occurred after the dyeing and finishing process. I'm not going to bother fighting with them for a replacement, as I'm sure they'll say it is a natural part of the manufacturing process. With their poor customer service, return and customer satisfaction policies, I will never order their products again. A frustrating and expensive lesson learned.

It's not even worth the two minutes it would take to fire off an email requesting an exchange? Seems unfair to fault them for poor customer satisfaction policies based purely on what you imagine they would say if you asked.

It's a bigger issue than just a two minute email. Their CS is horrible. Just google it. Plus I've experienced it for myself. I will never order from them again, even though I ended up liking the natural wood skin I ordered. There's plenty of Reddit threads detailing them not returning emails until the return deadline is past on orders. My order took almost 3 weeks to even ship. CS didn't reply to my inquiry for over a week. Lesson learned.

Slick wraps have 40% off at the moment. Going to pull the trigger on a Alcantara one.

I got my last 2 orders very quickly.

Both orders included skins for air pods, iPhone XS Max and iPad 11 and it’s Smart Keyboard folio.

They've been having a 50% continuously renewing sale since the beginning of the year, its a Marketing thing. They did bump prices $20 a couple weeks ago.

I ordered a skin on the 13th, no word yet. They did promptly charge my credit card, however.

Just a heads-up that I’ve put a couple of stickers on my Smart Cover - one was just a normal sticker and one was a vinyl type. I decided to change the layout so removed them, but both have left visible outlines on the cover. I’m guessing wraps won’t have this problem, but might be worth considering if you’re planning stickering your stuff!

I had the same thing happen but cleaned the case with a damp cloth and within a day or so they disappeared.

Another week and still waiting for my Natural Leather 12.9 folio skin (ordered February 13). Only 4 weeks, but I've had longer waits. I had to wait 6 weeks for Jeep to build me a custom ordered car one time :)

Ha! Email there CS and tell them you can get a custom made vehicle almost as fast as getting their skin. I’d love to see their reply. Lol Hopefully you’ll like the skin when it actually arrives.

The leather skin arrived today. Looks good, nicely cut, easy install. My only complaint is that it looks like the two back pieces were cut from different sheets as the larger piece has a more dull finish while the smaller piece has more of a shine like the large keyboard piece. Noticeable when folded flat, two toned. They did have two different types of backing paper so its kinda obvioius they were off a different roll/sheet of material. You would have though a high quality outfit would try to use the same roll/sheet for the two pieces that are adjacent. :) I don’t think its worth the risk of ruining the foilio trying to remove it for return.

They seem to be running a 70% off sale at the moment, instead of the usual 50%.

No. It is based on the 2 weeks of trying to get an answer from them about the status of my order, as well as the order actually shipping 2 weeks after I received an "order shipped" confirmation. My time is more valuable than wasting any further energy dealing with them.
