Disney Infinity

So I've played through both the pirates of the carribean and monsters university playsets clocking up around 13 hours so far.....

Haven't even touched the three other separate playsets or incredibles yet, but I'm enjoying infinity.

Still the biggest thing that is bumming me out is...... it's not on PS4. After spending lots of tine on ps4 Skylanders, I know disney infinity likewise could look AZMAZING rather than just nice.

i got skylanders on x box one and it looks nice

its not on the release calendar, but i think its a good chance they make Infinity on the new systems this year. worst case i might buy a second console since my wife seems to hate the x-box one

Got my final swap force characters from Amazon.de yesterday. Now that infamous SS is complete time for some more Skylander action :)

I tried Swapforce at the MS Store. It was relegated to the back of the store on the lowly-only XB360 game system set up. That and DI. I started playing Swapforce and it seemed that I had to go from point to point and constantly watch cutscenes... Is that it?

Though, last week at Target, they were closing out Skylanders Giants at $20 (all versions) so I picked up the Wii U version to play with - I don't think you can go wrong with that price... Needless to say, Target is sold out.

Probably just the intro, but the game itself only has cutscenes as you go into each level, and going through each level and trying to get everything and find hidden areas your talking a good 40-60 minutes gaming for each of the main levels. So a good 12-16 hours main mission campaign,

Add a ton of bonus missions and arena battles and there is a ton of extra hours in just side missions for your characters... If you have a big stack of characters you could be looking at 100-200 hours of gameplay.

So yeah - seems like you were just playing the intro mission on the back of flynn's ship and the intro story cutscenes.

Activision are hosting an event next Wednesday, the 23rd, to formally announce the fourth game in the series. I'm quite intrigued as to what this year's gimmick will be.....

Was thinking about picking it up for my new PS4 - Toys R Us has them on sale right now for $32.49 and Target usually matches...

Haven't played my Wii U copy of Giants yet (closeout at Target for $20) as I just got a PS4 - got the Swapforce at Target for $33 (they price matched). I heard Swapforce on PS4 is stunning...

It's a beautiful looking game on next gen indeed. The amount of detail on all the character models when you consider 3 generations of toys are supported is quite extraordinary.

The two adventure packs if you can get them cheap are worthy additions too.

Swapforce and Disney Infinity starter sets are on closeout at Target this week - $30 for all formats...

Picked up a Disney Infinity (Wii U version) - finally...

I guess they are making room for the new versions coming soon...
