Years ago I bought an InCase Icon Temnsaerlite for my 2015 MBP 15"

I bought it specifically because it was a tight fit (so no wiggle) and it had a shock absorbing edges and corners. I'm careful with my laptops and that one only dropped and hit the edge twice in 5 years.

I'd love to buy another one for my 2023 MBP 14".

However InCase don't do a similar design any more - not sure why not, many people valued the protective edging, if reviews were to be believed. Their current line-up are just cases with no additional protection from shocks when dropped on the edge / corner. I did email them and they confirmed they don't.

Are there alternatives that are as both light and protective around the edges and corners like the Incase Icon Tensaerlite was?

Hey, Hope you are doing well, If you're looking for a lightweight case with strong edge and corner protection like the InCase Icon Tensaerlite, consider the TOMTOC 360° Protective Sleeve or UAG Plyo Series, both offering excellent drop defence. Alternatively, Moshi's iGlaze hardshell and Inateck's shockproof sleeve also provide reliable protection while keeping your laptop safe from accidental bumps.
Thank You,
Mike Taku.
