Looks good. I like a very thin but clear case, doesn't look available yet though?

The problem with clear cases is that they're glossy, fingerprint magnets and they scratch easily. There's just no getting around it. I've found translucent matte cases like the frost Caudabe Veil to hold up best over time and look the best too. You don't really lose much in terms of clarity, but you gain fingerprint and scratch resistance.

Yes its on pre-order now. ships in about 2 weeks time.

we have liaised with many manufacturers for producing such cases & end up with SENVTEN for they are able to listen and manufacture according to customers' requests. Thin, transparent, all sides covered, precise cut outs for ports & controls & higher a quality plastic (PC) for manufacturing. :)

You've got a point. However, according to our experience with such cases, the layer of matte/soft touch coating will wear off eventually after a few weeks of everyday usage, because its just a layer of additional coating and not the actual material itself.

thus we will end up with an ugly case with patches of matte and transparent mixed together.

The black looks nice with my gray space iPhone 5s. What's the material on the inside around the sides? I'm just concern if it's hard and will scratch the bezel long term. Also, how did you come up with the interesting name (SENVTEN)? Thanks!

5S: My everyday case and works great!!! The only neg is the vol keys, wish it could come w/ vol key covers so it makes them easier to press.

Its Polycarbonate & its just fine if you don't install & remove it often (every other day). during installation, always snap on from the volume buttons side.

more over, the paint (anodizing) process on the 5S has improved over the 5, paint chips will not happen that easily now. :)

naming wise is just one way to differentiate us from the competition

I am very impressed with the Ringke Fusion case on my Space Gray. I previously had the Belkin view case and the back was scratched up very quickly. This one from Ringke is slimmer, feels better and has scratch resistant materials. Also there are little nubs on the corner of the back of the bumper that prop your phone up slightly when laid flat on the back, this prevents the clear part from making contact with surfaces. This is definitely a great case for the money!

Actually that's not true because the matte on the Veil is not a coating but is part of the actual case itself. I guess it must've been incorporated into the mold. So no, the matte doesn't rub off.

Lipless design?

Can anyone recommend a case that has a matte finish, no logo cutout, in black that has a lipless design? The incipio feather used to have this for the 4S but their 5S version added a lip on the front. I want a case that has no lip so that the front glass is flush with the case.

Are there cases like this? I know there was for the 4s but no luck for the 5s so far. I have tried the incipio and a spigen, both had a lip. I don't care about the face down protection.

Seems like the Caudabe Veil in black fits the bill. No logo cutout, black, matte, no lip.....

I just ordered a Luvvitt ClearView.

I read the reviews and it seems to be a great minimalist case while still offering a somewhat increased level of protection. It has a TPU bumper band in the color of your choosing and a clear back.

I ordered the black one. I overthink these things a lot, so I'm wondering if I should have ordered the crystal clear one. But then again, those have a tendency to turn yellow over time. Then again, the company says that they can replace it if that happens but I just want to stick a case on it and not have to constantly worry about it. But the black looks really, really good in photos and reviews, and it still has a clear back, so I'll keep that. But then again, I want to be able to see the beauty of the entire phone (including the antenna band) through the case....
:eek::p

I'll post here again after I receive it with photos and impressions.

I got this in the main last night. This would be the PERFECT case except there is no rubber coating on, very slippery. I had to take it off, was afraid I would drop it on the subway. Might just get the power jacket, pricier than what I would usually spend but it looks like the right choice. If the caudabe had just a little grip...

Huh, that's odd. I find it provides better grip than just a naked iPhone while still feeling like a naked iPhone.

I too got the Caudabe: The Veil in yesterday. It's exactly like the Desmay Slight, except with MUCH better quality control. The case fits perfectly and doesn't have any fit issues.

It's exactly what a slim case should be, plus it's $20 cheaper than the WAY sub-par Desmay Slight 5.

It's a solid low profile case, I just wish it had the thin rubber coating that many cases have. Mine is just the plain plastic, I prefer just a little extra grip.

The SENVTEN might be new, but it's sure one well manufactured slim, all sides protected case. Hope this will end the hunt for many on "the best slim case" :)

Please tell the designer of this product that by adding a disgusting ugly logo to it they are cutting their sales by 90%. The whole point of a clear case it that it's clear, no ugly logos.

I bought this for £6 that is perfect, it's very slim and lets me see the phone in all it's glory. It's clear hard plastic.

The only thing is it doessn't protect the chamfer glass, which will lead to chips if you're not careful.

I ordered a MIME USA tempered glass screen protector to protect my screen

http://mimeusa.com

But i should still be careful like you said. I wish it had the lay on the table design. I basically just need a case to avoid scuffs and scratches and a bit of protection.
