Maybe in another two weeks?
In any case, I'd guess that if we don't see SlingPlayer in the App Store within the next two weeks then it means that something other than the standard acceptance process is in play.
If AT&T doesn't want SlingPlayer released then it is possible that Apple will wait as long as it can to either accept or deny the App or perhaps Apple is waiting until it has the agreement it wants from AT&T on the next generation iPhone.
Sadly (as others have suggested) this may be a bandwidth issue or perhaps a fear that SlingPlayer will compete with some future plans that AT&T may have for a mobile version of their U-verse TV service.
As for SlingPlayer currently being available on the BlackBerry and other 3G mobile phones, I suspect SlingPlayer will see more use on the iPhone than on all previous phones combined. In this case, it could represent a rather significant spike in bandwidth over the 3G networks. Add in Hulu (rumor) and things could crawl to a stop on AT&T's 3G network.
Yes, they could release a WiFi-only version, but that could represent a real embarrassment for both the iPhone and AT&T (so both may be thinking that for the time being "no news is good news"). Perhaps they want to wait until AT&T has upgraded the speed on their 3G networks -- which may happen in the major U.S. markets within the next several months.
No, it's been over a month, not a "week or so."its been a week or so.. how long does this process take?
