If you’re interedted in the idea of buying and using a large variety of bands, go with the silver. Otherwise go with the black for it’s improved durability.
Thanks! +1 for black. Gotta admit, my silver series 0 didn't look so pretty after a year's use.
Should be noted, though, that you can polish the silver. The black is much less likely to be scuffed at all but if it happens it’s done.
I'm going to use my SS black link band and so I have to go with black. I wish I could just buy the watch without a new band because I'm never gonna use the new band.
If I decide to get one, it'll be a silver SS - because I'm a woman and I find the black SS too masculine (even more so because the watch is very bulky). But if I were a man, I'd get the black SS. It's really just a question of personal taste.
Definitely a matter of personal taste. I'm a woman I don't find the black to be masculine. I do know some female watch owners who feel the same way you do though.
I do like the color better. But with the watch being so thick, I find the black to be just a little too much. If it were flatter and smaller, I'd definitely choose the black too.
So...with pre-orders rapidly approaching, I'm still on struggling to decide on the silver or black stainless.
I currently own a black stainless S2 and my gen 1 was silver. I liked both.
Which should I get?
I have a ss black series 0. I have banged it into walls, door jams, etc. it still looks brand new. The DLC coating really holds up. I was impressed enough to refresh it with a SS Sries 3. Hope that helps. How durable is the black ss? I have the silver ss original Apple Watch and it has a ton of scratches, I'm very hard on it always banging into things and concrete. Amazingly the screen is still pristine which is why I'm getting another Safire, but can't decide on color. I like the black better but worry the scratches will show more.
For me, no brainer Space Black. I paid $550 for my space black link bracelet, need to get more years of use out of it
