I had the series 0 SS silver with Milanese band. Yes, in the 28 months it got banged a lot and has countless small scratches. I didn't polish it since it just adds to the character of a stainless steel watch.
This time around however I decided for the SS black with Milanese. Need only one band. The Milanese so far has been perfect for me, especially outdoors in hot FL weather.

I currently have S0 aluminum. But I ordered the S3 SS in black. I only wear original Apple sport bands, blues, red, yellow, green, etc. I'm hoping these still look OK with SS black? Why does everyone say SS black matches with less bands?

this is my present conundrum.

id like to have more than one strap.

the black one looks great with the black metal strap, but wont go with leather.
the silver one will go great with leather but not with black...

All the Apple sport bands look great with the space black watch. The contrast is great. The only not so great looking bands would probably be the pastel range of colors.

in my saga with apple watch.. series 0 i went from space gray to SS, then got SBSS, then series 2 got SBSS, series 3 is either SBSS or ceramic white. not sure yet.

I have a few straps for my SS Series 0. I have wanted the Milanese loop, so getting the Series 3 with that. Is it me or is Apple not offering so many band options with the SS Series 3?

I don't think they're offering as many configurations, as likely as Apple wants you to purchase bands separately, where they make a good profit.

Got the silver SS Series 0 first time out. Time for a change and that black casing looks very sexy....

The black stainless also has a diamond like carbon coating to help protected it as well. So retains its shine and doesn't really show any damage at all.
