I also have big plans for my Titanium when I overclock the GPU and CPU. CPU will be 1.5ghz and the GPU will be overclocked to 100MB.
Do you mean 100MHz for the GPU? Seems really good for SM64EX. On the CPU side I think the floor here for SM64EX is probably a 800MHz G4 but It might be lower with a good GPU...

@alex_free What's your opinion on the recently decompiled Ocarina of Time? Could we possibly see a Zelda port on PowerPC? :)
That got 100% decompiled! I've been following that and Perfect Dark on progress.

I say it's only a matter of time. Someone needs to take the N64 bits and rewrite them, that didn't take too long after SM64 was 100%, a few months iirc. There is a ton of demand so I'd say it's inevitable.

Im not a mac genius, but would this app work for High Sierra?
There is also a intel version available. If you search for sm64ex on archive.org you should be able to find it. Ran perfectly on High Sierra for me.

On the other end of the spectrum it's also smooth on my powermac 7300 with G3 upgrade and rage 128. Apparently the rage 128 doesn't support texture rotation and specularity. Mario's shadow is wrong and Mario's face at the start screen is completely black. In the terminal it says using OpenGL 1.1 ATI-1.4.4. So if you don't mind some glitches there is no need for OpenGL 1.3.

I am going to redo this port. This was the first video game I ever played, and the only one I had for years.

I want to make a proper app that converts the ROM to a native mac source port for Intel and PowerPC on Leopard and maybe Tiger if I can get that working correctly. SM64EXLC doesn't work like I want it to and the archive.org releases are an uneccesary stop gap. Sometime this year it will happen...

Alright, I'm back at this again. Here is the https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...-one-gui.2337242/?post=30916836#post-30916836 thread. SM64EX Creator is the next gen SM64EXLC replacement, it gets around the legal issues of distributing the compiled port by simply compiling it itself. It only requires Xcode 2.5, a ROM for extracting assets, and Mac OS X 10.4.11 Intel Mac at the moment, and uses it's own internal MacPorts installation and other compiled sources to make it as easy as possible to get this up and running.
