would you guys say the 6 / 6+ is pocketable? where do you carry your phones?

I used to feel the same way....was upset at the idea of a bigger phone.... then I changed my mind. Heck I wish the 6 plus was bigger. I have no problem fitting a mini iPad into my pocket so a six inch phone would certainly fit.

See above post.
My wife wears "tighter" shorts and has no problem with her 6 but said she doesn't think a 6+ would be comfortable.

I just recently went from 5c to 6+

I'm never going back to a little phone ... the iPad mini is next to go.
Funny you say that about the iPadm...... That is my favorite iPad..... at least until I get the pro. I didn't like the air size iPad for some reason so when the mini came out I was happy. When rumors of the pro began to rumble I couldn't wait for it to be true.

I am fan of big displeys and battery life but man, 5S is so so nice. It has such good design. Nice big icons on screen. Arghh. That battery life is killing it with heavy usage :/

I fit the 6+ in my pocket without too much problem, sometimes if I'm sitting down and wearing tighter pants then I have to take it out of the pocket to be comfortable.

Personally I'd prefer a smaller screen I think the original iPhone size of 3.5" was just about perfect and the 4" wasn't too bad. Both the 6 and 6+ are too big to use one handed so when I had to upgrade I went with the 6+ to get as much advantage out of the big screen to offset the loss of one handed use.

For the OP I'd say go to a store and try them out, if you have big enough hands to use the 6 one handed I don't think you'll regret the bigger screen. If the regular 6 will require you to use 2 hands then I'd say go with the 6S+ and try to think of it as a small tablet. However if you can hold out for the 7 I would recommend it, that's when the 5S will become old enough that Apple drops it from their line and no longer will sell a 4" phone so if there is anytime in the near future that apple will release a new small phone it will be when they have the next redesign with the 7 so they can have a replacement for the 5S.

Once you upgrade to a new iPhone you'll wonder how you were able to deal with such a ridiculously dinky screen all those years. :)
For some people maybe, I recently pulled out my old iPhone 3G and charged it up to see what data was still on it. Obviously the screen resolution wasn't that great since it isn't retina, but if apple made a phone with modern hardware in that size I would go back to it immediately.
