It will physically fit in the iPhone 7 battery case, but it likely won't work with iOS.
I have an iPhone 6S and an iPhone 7. My iPhone 7 battery case works fine with my 7, but when I put the 6S in there it it refuses to recognize it even though it still charges. It won't show the 2nd battery meter. Apple's put some sort of check in place.
I agree completely and that's why I'm sticking with my iPhone 7 for another year.Dang, thats a dealbreaker for me. I dont care at all about wireless charging, and the smart battery case is what makes the 7 (imo) the best iphone, since the battery life sucks without it. If it won’t work with the 8, then there’s no way i can upgrade, as the stock battery life is way too short my my usage.
Same here. Going tk determine whether i get a phone now or wait for the 2nd gen X next yearLooking forward to your results!
Yes correct...
Does it still work with the latest update?
