I liked mine until the cover detached while it was rolled back and I was holding onto it. My iPad fell to the floor while I still had a grip onto the cover.

To sad to hear it... That what happens to some of my friends. That's why I got the ZUM case. I have been using it for more than a month, still love it! A Perfect companion for smart cover users!

That looks like the perfect solution to preventing the accidental detachment of the Smart Cover. Honestly, I miss my Smart Cover but I just couldn't relax and enjoy my iPad for fear it was going to fall off again. So I ended up buying something more secure. However I just may order the ZUM.

Same thing happened when I tried to pick up my daughter by her hat. Now that I've glued it to her head it works much better.

I have a eBay silicone Back case that's compatible with the smart cover works fairly well. Now the front and then back is protected!
