I was going to buy a laptop bag, but I realized that it has a magnetic pocket. Should I buy it? Or are magnets harmful towards MacBooks/laptops?

most likely it would be okay. try the macbook pro part of the forums this is mac pro section a tower not a laptop. I would think some one would have used one and may tell how it worked for them.
