Not into selfies. But for a travel photographer/videographer, drones are a great! Personally, i'd go for the DJI spark or Mavic over this.

I work alone and to create video takes in various places and situations this contraption would work for me especially if I could program the camera to focus on other objects in proximity to meself. Programmed only to focus upon meself in every situation wouldn't work.

In time drones will find commercial utility, too. Only winners win, 'ya know?

These things are already banned mostly everywhere. Annoying sound, annoying invasion of public space and privacy. This is the equivalent of listening to music throught your phone's speakers in public.

I'm just waiting until they make drones in City Scanner style.

Those hover videos include very little Hover shot video. You get no sense that the propellers distort the recorded image.

I have this drone and it makes a sound similar to a small fan. I only used it to take aerial shots of my family’s business, which came out pretty medicore, but it did do its purpose. Still, it’s a **** product and navigating it is a nightmare.

It's not literally a Fun Fact, but I like it and I'll probably use it when a situation presents itself calling forth for some simple, witty response, e.g. to those who opine, I don't like or use computers. Never have; never will.

T'anks!

I love it too. Especially since I love both bicycles and computers.
