+1. Exactly in the same boat. Nearly bought the exact same model, same price, entry-level Mac Pro computer last summer as what is currently gathering cobwebs on the Apple website right now. What will make you even more angry is when you look at the ridiculously high prices being paid for dusty, 3+ year-old used ones online. Because Apple's prices arent coming down, its overinflating the used market as well. Leaving us no option.
I'd say from the deafening silence and lack of any legit rumors whatsoever, we're definitely in for the long haul. If only the Pentagon were so good at sealing off rumors......

Perhaps you people should either move to another website, or remember that the 'iCrap' is what saved Apple from bankruptcy so real "Mac" users like you were able to buy a Mac computer in the first place.

I believe it could be done, I don't think one has to exist at the expense of the other. But as I've stated many times iGadgets can't exist without OSX based computers, so ... they can't go away. They just need a little more care right now.Pretty good point here. I think people like myself just wish they were attacking both fronts with the same fervor.
