what about lining up at carrier stores like verizon stores would lining up the day before at night be enough or would you have to be in line earlier ?

My experience with carrier stores is that they let you line up almost as early as you want. I've lined up at ATT for the 3 series phones, and was 5th in line for an allotment of 42 phones available.

Phones were still being shipped to the US around the clock and UPS delivered more phones to the store during launch day.

ahh ok Well I can't get in line earlier then 8 or 9 that thursday so I will go then check it out then.

Last two years I've gone to Glendale, cool thing is the line starts inside the mall and even when it extends outside the mall it's in a covered parking lot, last year it was pretty chill.
