So anyone waiting for white iphone 4 to pop up on the online apple store?

I agree.

The ultimate macbook airs quietly showed up in retail stores, I hope they will do the same for the white too.
 
Someone asked the O2 official twitter account when the White one would be available and they have no idea.
 
With all the 28th April POS materials flying around, don't we think it's tomorrow when this will go on sale??

Even though when I walked into a Vodafone UK store yesterday he wanted to sell me one on contract right away.!

Paddington Station - they had two in stock and would sell one to me on a £35/m PAYM contract. I have a SIM only deal so was looking for the £499 PAYG price.

He said that "it came out today" (yesterday to now).

Everyone has them in stock right now, they just need the OK from Apple.
 
I'm based in Guildford, Surrey (UK) and am going to head into Vodafone and Carphone warehouse at Lunch. I would check the others but I'm only interested in the Vodafone network personally!

Assuming the person who posted earlier about Paddington Station Vodafone having them is being honest and isn't talking out of his/hers backside then I will use that story with the sales person in the branch here and say what they say.

I will report back after lunch!

I have no habit of backside talking.

Good luck. If you have a salesperson as eager as I had to sell me a new contract then you'll have no problem.

I'm planning on heading to Apple Store tomorrow morning 9am to get a PAYG one! Lets hope something more 'official' is announced today.
 
for what it's worth...

local AT&T store told me 1-2 weeks while asking about availability yesterday over the phone.

OK first off ichaddy I wasn't suggesting you were so please don't take offence, this is after all the internet where its all too easy to hide behind your screen and write whatever you like.

Here's what just happened to me in Guildford, went into Vodafone store - very busy (much more than usual) I wasn't going to bother but the people in front of me had simple queries.
I spoke to a guy and asked the question "can I buy a white iPhone 4, I have the money and will do it now" to which he basically said they know nothing about it.
I then used the story from above and amended it slightly to the extent that I was the person who had been offered the white iphone in London.
He looked shocked and unbelievably his colleague piped up behind him (who was serving someone else) and said they were suppposed to receive them in a delivery this morning but they never turned up.

So thats it from me, read into it what you will but my take is that all these idiots are being scripted and are being jobs worths about it. IMO, expect to see this if not later tonight or tomorrow/Friday then by this weekend!

Interesting though that only the US site specifically says 'tomorrow' the UK site still shows the White iPad 2!

For Australia my prediction is next week. Friend who works in a retail store told me they haven't received any larger than usual deliveries, but their store is undergoing a table reformat next week. The telcos, I assume, know nothing either but a Q is not unreasonable considering it will be out in the US tomorrow.
 
That's annoying Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia is April 28th yet the online apple store hasn't changed for white iPhone 4 even though the iphone page says "Its finally here"
Hope this doesn't happen in UK.
 
I want the white one so bad! I'll have listen to my adult voice that says 'wait for the iphone 5.'
